★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not until we had our little dog run away that I realized how grateful I would be for the "big bad dog catcher". Early one morning our dog was out doing her business when a hot air balloon spooked her and she took off like a shot. My wife and I searched relentlessly all day with no success. Finally, a ray of light; after contacting the spca, they mentioned that one of the staff had heard animal control had brought in a dog loosely matching her description. We jumped in the car and flew across town with reluctant hope. The relief that washed over us when a much dirtier but completely unharmed little dog came around the corner was incredible. If not for Kelowna dog control, I dont think we would have seen her again. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Woah.... my best friend lost her Doberman a couple weeks ago.. we searched all around town. This was seriously our only hope, she had weighed all our options. We searched around and we got a call that you had a grey dirty scruffy smelly thing over there so we went to take a look at that pathetic rotting bug infested bag of trash.... turns out it was my ex boyfriend so we just left. Please call me when something important comes up. Anyway 5 stars for the hope.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our dog was lost and thankfully was turned in to the Dog Control Services. The ladies there that helped me were very nice, I can tell that the people there are passionate about animals and our little escape artist was well taken care of in her short time away from us, Thank You!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If i could vote less than one star these people would be in the minus. We recently moved and as such had just put every and all funds we had into doing so. Our dog tracker got out and was in the parking lot of old spaghetti factory and someone picked him up and took him to the vet clinic. We looked for him for hours that night and could not find him. The next morning i received a notification that Trackers micro chip was scanned and he was at the vet clinic. So at 9am i called them and they informed me that dog controle had picked him up, So i then contacted dog controle who told ne it would be a $100 fee to pick him up, id like to point out that at this point they have had him for 5 min. I informed them that i didn't get paid untill the 10th and i would have to call back closer to the day to and try get the funds. I would also like to add that Tracker has his ESA support registration and Tags as he helps with my son that has designated disabilities. These money hungry people refused to work with me in anyway shape or form and now refuse to give me any information. They are clearly not in this job because they like or love animals or there families and are clearly only in it to make money.. Very upset Family and even more so upset children That are now grieving the loss of a family member..Kelowna dog controle,No sole and no conscience. Heartless money hungry organization... Contacted other organizations that informed me that Tracker was likely euthanized...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you so much for the immediate call to action RDCO even when the original lookup said it was closed ? My dog went missing while I am in town helping a friend move. She has no idea where she is, had no collar or tag as I just gave her a bath, and slipped out the garage door while the boys where moving the TV out my worst fear became very real. I was hysterical by the time I found the number. The gentleman that answered was very reassuring to tell me how great the ppl of Kelowna are to respond and post found pets. Then another gentleman showed up at the address within 10 mins to help with search again to my hysterics. He didn't even give me more than a sad look when I said no collar no tags all my fault ? Thank you thank you thank you for helping me find my baby ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give this government organization 0 stars I would. They make it so you cant renew your dog's license on their app, then their site doesn't work for Mac Computers. they then ignore numerous emails for help with their site and send out a thug to threaten my wife after she mentioned she would be making a complaint with the ombudsman. They should be fired and replaced with competent employees. It sickens me my taxes go to pay these people's salaries.
