Tellers are amazing but after having an account here for over 2 years and depositing a check every week from the same company for those years I never had a hold then one day they changed the account without notifying me through email mail or anything and put a 5-day hold right when I had bills to pay and refuse to help even after never bouncing a single check

can't seem to reach the local branch by phone. stuck with endless automated messages, i know that every desk in that building has a phone, you have potentially lost a customer as i was hoping to book an appointment to open a business account but seeing as i can't get a hold of you then i'll take my business somewhere with reliable customer service.

Was counselled by another RBC branch advisor, to avoid doing any transactions at the Rockland branch. Apparently, this branch has a reputation in the region for being just a little bit useless. Wish I would have known this earlier last week. last Saturday, paid out a line of credit cash, to close a savings and the line of credit. branch staff unable to close the savings account, because the last interest payment needs to go through the savings. Offered to pay cash the 30 dollar interest that would be charged at the end of the month. Branch unable to process the last interest payment. Stuck holding a savings account and a line of credit I don't want. Asked to reduce the limit on my line of credit to one dollar. Branch unable to comply. I remember when RBC was the standard in banking. Things have really changed. Staff caters more to a system that makes you wait and forget, then they are willing to cater to the consumer. It's called a payout. It's cash, it's basic and simple. What is wrong with this picture?

I've been with RBC since forever, it have been my only bank ever since i was old enough and my parents brought me to open my account. UNFORTUNATELY the Rockland Branch is completely useless. I moved to Rockland about 5years ago and I've been at the franchise a hand full of times for things i can't do online. They had NEVER BEEN HELPFUL. Basic stuff, refused to cash a cheque, refused to give me or sale a personal cheque or certified cheque neither give me the Cash! (Mind-blowing), refused to print a notice of the funds in the account (for a new mortage purposes need it with a stamp from the bank), i was going to travel before covid and wanted to take cash from my US dollars account for the trip, NOPE can't do!! I had to put a request and come back 10 -15 days later (wich was past my departing date) - All of this things i got them done at other branches or by calling to the central without any problem. Haven't once walked out of there with whatever i needed done. I have to travel to other branches or call to the central to request the things i need and get then mailed to my home. I loved RBC unfortunately ROCKLAND branch is a pain in the ?. I would have given 0 stars if i could terrible service and the people who works there act like the own they world.

I’ve been going to this branch for years. Amazing front desk staff super friendly. Also went several times for financial advice on RRSP, TFSA, HBP etc and was just as pleased with those services; very knowledgeable staff.

Worst services received, they treat clients as number, no empathy, no humanity ONLY NUMBERS… money money money, if you go there and have money to invest they will be all over you, but if you disagree with the way they conduct business, using condescending comment about the lost of a loved one, that branch manager should go back to credit collection departments… NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE, shame on you

I have a cheque that bounced and should not have. We put the money in the bank and have proof of the transaction yet they argue with us that its our fault. PDF of our screen to prove it. Its a no brainer. How can the date be wrong in my internet banking and in the BMO account from where the money was sent?? Yet they argued. (including the manager). They bounced the cheque, took the NSF fee, that's all they cared about. How can they be allowed to do this. They got caught and somehow instead of apologizing and making it right, they tell us we must be confused. We will be reporting this ... If I could rate less than a 1, I would.....
