★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The National Bank is closing branches in small communities such as Richmond, leaving clients with poorly maintained ATMs. 5 days ago I tried to deposit a cheque and the machine shut off in mid-transaction, taking my cheque without crediting my account. Neither regional nor head-office staff have resolved the problem yet. Terrible service. This bank can't be trusted.
