Ramada by Wyndham Cold Lake - Cold Lake

Room looks ok but no hot water to shower at the end of the day and fridge is about as warm as the tap water - luke warm. Mattress could definitely use an upgrade. All in all, the room was clean and hotel was quiet.

About what you would expect for a cheap hotel. Desk messed up and gave me keys to someone who else's room when I arrived. The door and closet clearly had not been cleaned. Room otherwise was fine, breakfast was typical buffet stuff one meat one egg one potato. Would probably try somewhere else if I stay in cold lake again.

Our stay was amazing. Staff was really Nice, room is amazingly clean. A/C working fine (thank god). And our breakfast bags (covid-19 upgrade) had sweet little motivational speeches on them. It's a kind and thoughtful thing to do. It is perfect, as long as you don't care about the view. Would definitely recommend.

Checked out forgot an expensive charger for my watch, 3 months worth of eye contacts. Knowing I did forgot them there, the manager hung up abruptly on me when I stood my ground.

Rated as a 2-3 Star hotel... id honestly give it 4 Stars! Way better than the standard "3-Stars" in Calgary and Edmonton! Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Great location as you enter the city from the south or west. No pool or HTub, but everything else made up for that. Next time i travel here ill booking here, because of proximity, staff and amenities.

This hotel maintains a high standard of customer service. We always stay here when we are in Cold Lake. The staff here is very friendly and they do their best to accommodate your requests.

The room it's self was fine. The breakfast was cheap, microwaved eggs, bacon, sausage. They charged my debit card $250 for a deposit. I did question this charge on Saturday. I was told it's refunded when we check out. Checked out on Sunday. Paid for our 2 nights, I was told then that the refund would be done.now its the next Friday and still no refund. The Hotel says they can't do anything and that it's the bank that is taking so long. I called Head Office (customer care) and I'm told they can't do anything and I need to call the Hotel itself...I just want my deposit refunded. I will never stay at a Ramada Hoyle again. This is completely unacceptable!

The hotel was decent and clean. We had a few employees stay here more than once with several rooms and we were offered a promotional rate of $80 per night per room originally. When the employees checked in a week later the rate had changed to $90 per night which wasn’t unreasonable but just wasn’t what we were told… we booked a couple more rooms later that same week and we were quoted a rate of $110 per night which I was told was the only rate available… after looking on Expedia we found a lower rate which was the $80 per night. After that stay the manager at the desk told us to call in and explain who we were and we would get the same $80 per night rate when we checked in again… next time that I called in to book rooms we were quoted $90 per night and I asked to pass the message onto the manager to confirm our $80 per night rate and nobody had called me back… after booking two rooms for three nights, I called in to extend the stay for one more night and to confirm our room rate where the current manager had told me that $90 per night was the lowest that they could go… If that’s the case, that is fine but I just would like to know this upfront, not after we had already spent three nights for two rooms. It’s not a whole bunch of money difference but it’s just the principle. We use these rooms for work and we have to pass the charges on to the customer so the better deal that I can get for my customers the better for them.
