I just got my car back and it looks amazing - the staff at Public Auto Body went above and beyond to repair the damage on my car and make it look much better than I had expected. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, honest, and professional. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needed body work done in Edmonton.

I was skeptical of using an insurance-suggested body shop as I had bad experiences with Herbers Autobody in the past, but I couldn't be happier about agreeing with that suggestion! Everyone at the shop treated me wonderfully, and made me feel welcome and comfortable both times that I stopped in. They remembered me when I returned to pick up my car and everything transitioned without any problems at all. I'm positive that my car looks better now than it did before the accident. Insurance funded or not, I can confidently say that I will be coming here for any future needed repairs on any of my vehicles. Special thanks to Wayne, who emailed me almost every day to let me know how repairs were going. This was a stressful situation and they made me feel that I was in good hands. Keep up the good work, guys!

The guys in the back are great and didn’t mind explaining what would be done and how they would do it. It also seemed like a great place to work. Come here if you want friendly service where they will remember you on your next visit. I’m from Toronto and needed my car fixed quickly. They executed perfectly. I had such a good experience I will be sure to drop by just to say hi next time I’m in town. Great work and thank you so much !

Took my vehicle in on a Monday, they organized a rental for us, had them take us to the rental location to sign paperwork and we were on our way. Then called us Tuesday morning, like the next day, and told us it would be done by noon! All handled in a extremely helpful and professional manner. Car was beautifully detailed inside which I didn’t expect, so they went above and beyond to assure client satisfaction. Although it was covered by insurance I saw the price tag was very reasonable too. What a great experience, highly recommend this business to anyone needing auto body work done in a timely and professional manner! Very handy location right on Gateway Blvd.

I had the unfortunate event of having to make an insurance claim for the first time and Wayne at Public Auto Body talked me through each step. As well, Wayne went above and beyond to follow up with my insurance when issues communicating with the insurance company arose. Overall, great quality of the repair done on my car and the people working here clearly care and know what they are doing.

It had chips, scratches, and gouges from a forklift during shipping, and needed a lot of rough areas re-sanded. There was a lot of build imperfections. Well, Public did an INCREDIBLE job adjusting things so that the hood fit almost perfectly. They spent 2 days sanding and fixing all the damage and imperfections. They did a fantastic job with the prep. And OMG, they did a beautiful job with the paint! We are SO happy with their work, their care and attention, and their friendliness. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Pics are new hood. (Sorry 2 pics are the same but don't know how to remove one)

Did everything in the time they said. Body and paint work was exceptional. We have pearl paint on our vehicle which is challenging - the repair is flawless, like factory original. They did work for us on a break-in damage 5 years ago - our experience with Public was the same then as well. Consistent excellent service and workmanship.
