Run don't walk from this company!! They will rip you off like you have never seen. My nephew had him do a rebuild transmission...Failed the first week, So my nephew took it back 3 months later ANOTHER $5000 more and the vehicle still does not work. AMVIC has been notified and legal action will begin. This guy is a scam outfit plain and simple

I have been dealing with this company for 12 years and have had nothing but good service on heavy truck components. This company backs their engines and any other components I have purchased. Engines are always test ran. Top notch quality and service sums it up.

Have had the pleasure of dealing with Provincial Powertrain for 20 years.Ihor and his staff always go above and beyond for us.Many times over the years I've needed help or parts and service on a Saturday or Sunday he's always there to help never an overtime charge.The product this business provides is above and beyond .Warranty if needed is always way above any other supplier. Our company has been dealing with Provincial Powertrain for 15 years. I was sold from day one on the extreme support extended on any purchase I have made. I have purchased many engines, transmissions and differentials with total confidence that if there is any issues they will be dealt with more than fairly. Provincial Powertrain is our "GO To" when it comes to heavy truck components.

I want to share some experiences I've personally had with Provincial Powertrain. Last year we needed a 926 Mercedes engine, looked all over no one had one or if they did it needed to be rebuilt. contacted Provincial They where honest/ courteous and professional I was aware that the engine was used , and would have minimal warranties. We purchased it , had to convert parts from our original . With out asking and with out any fees Provincial sent a man down on the weekend to assist us. We then got the engine installed once again Provincial spent countless hours with my tech rewiring the ECM to get a 2 year newer engine to operate on our ECM. Two Months later another motor down this time a Series Sixty Detroit. Provincial had one, went through it delivered it to us for free. When we couldn't get wiring diagrams from the local truck dealer We were emailed them from Provincial in less than 4 hours. Both Engines were exactly what was promised , both instances Provincial Power Train went above and Beyond our expectations. Fast Forward to 2 weeks ago another truck wouldn't shift out of 4th, gear We took it to a local shop in Red Deer they told us the drive line was out of tolerance, and the tow ring was shot and that they needed to reprogram the shift RPM. To make a long story short $6,000.00 worth of parts and labor later and them wanting to do more . I pulled the truck We called Provincial Powertrain with out any hesitation they told us where to start with the basics Air to Air/ Exhaust pressure and temp sensors. With in 45 minutes we had the truck working properly by disconnecting the muffler. Thank You Provincial Powertrain!!! At shop rates of $125.00 -$180.00 an hour for todays mechanics who are more concerned about getting their billable hour quota then helping small business owners continue to support them. I Appreciate your honesty, integrity and service. Small business owners need you. Five Stars Plus!!@!

Unfortunately there isn't 0 stars. This company is unlicensed by AMVIC and will sell you equipment that has not been tested. Their sellers agreement states transmission are guaranteed to work at the time of sale. The first transmission I purchased from this company did not work. They tried to state that my installation caused the unit not to work, unlikely as Alison installation is quite simple including having fitting that only go on one way. Therefore we purchased another unit which I assumed would have been under warranty or something along those lines prior to installing. the second transmission into our bus I got it reviewed by a third party mechanic that is licenced by AMVIC. There report stated that the unit was faulty and did not pass pressure testing or meet Allisons minimum requirements. The cost for this repair has been over $12,000 dollars now and all I have is a bus that is in worse shape then it was when I took it too him including cut transmission lines and a broken hood which is nearly 2000 to replace. Do not use this company!

STAY AWAY!! Went to get our transmission repaired and ended up in a situation way worse than when we took it to PPT. Cost us over $9000 for absolutely nothing to get done (we actually have to fix more now than we did when he got it). Then were asked to sign an non disclosure about our experience. Also have since found out this business is not licensed through AMVIC and is therefore operating illegally. STAY AWAY. Photos our of our bus leaving the shop after 4 months.
