Recently attend the venue for a birthday party and the place is beautiful. Such a lovely space for any outdoor event. Especially a wedding. This is such a beautiful space to capture photos for your special day. There is a water fountain, a large tented area, and indoor bathrooms with running water. The owners, Anuj and Maya, are such great people too.

My son and daughter-in-law were recently married and chose Aspen Valley to celebrate their special day. Although the day was beautiful and perfect in so many ways there were definitely some issues. I realize that this venue is still very new but for the amount of money the kids paid I would’ve expected a little more attention to detail. There are definitely some kinks that need and can be worked out but some issues may be more difficult. 1. The biggest issue was that because the neighbours continually complain about the noise our DJ ( which was very ?) was told to turn down the music at 8:00 and several other times during the evening. In my mind and those of the guests the music was not to loud. The music was hardly heard if you were standing in the parking lot at the end of the property line. As a result the kids were charged $500 for noise. 2. There was an issue with both the men’s and ladies washrooms which were not fully functional. The ladies washroom had two out of the four stalls out of order. The men’s had a flood on the bathroom floor( which was cleaned up) The other issue with the washrooms was the fact that the service truck had to come twice during the course of the wedding. The venue did compensate for this issue but it should’ve not happened in the first place. This venue holds gathering for up to 230 people and the washrooms were not equipped to handle 130 of our guests. 3. There had been conversation about being able to set up the day before the Friday wedding as the cleaning crew comes on Thursday. When we arrived the venue had not been cleaned and was not ready to set up or decorate. It was an added stress that the wedding couple didn’t need. As it turned out the crew was there Friday morning and had gotten everything cleaned and setup in time for the guests arrival. I would currently not recommend booking this venue until they are able to fix the issues. My advice to anyone looking to book this venue would be not to plan to have music as even the noise of 130 guests talking would exceed the noise limit. Make sure they have replaced the small water tanks in the washrooms with larger ones so you don’t have the inconvenience (smell) of having them serviced during your event. And lastly make sure you all your verbal arrangements in writing.

We had our wedding ceremony at aspen valley in October. I found Maya to be very responsive. We had a few hiccups during the planning and execution of our wedding. Anuj went out of his way to try and make things work and I feel he went above and beyond answering calls late at night and calling the county. Although we did have issues getting a permit for the tents, I'd recommend planning ahead and making sure.you can sort that out as we didn't have enough time and ended up with a smaller tent. I'd also recommend working with vendors recommended by Aspen as we spoke to some vendors who wouldn't work at that location. On the day of the wedding ceremony Anuj and Maya were both there and very helpful and helped accommodate any last minute requests. Great service overall and very happy.

Might possibly be a good venue for an extremely small group of people, but I would not classify this as a true “wedding” venue. I had attended a friends wedding about a month ago and although the location is beautiful, it is not set up properly to hold a large (or semi-large) function. The main take aways as to why it wasn’t an ideal location coming from a guests perspective was: 1. During the wedding, a lot of smokers were directed from in between the dining set up and bathroom trailer down the road a bit further (which as a non-smoker, I appreciated for the duration of the night having people spaced far away to get away from the smoke if we wanted/needed) but the issue is, they brought septic cleaning trucks to the venue during the actual wedding. You could smell it from the start of the bathroom trailers all the way down off the property at the end of the road leading to the venue, directly where they were sending people to go smoke. The stench was absolutely horrible and actually made me gag. I understand it possibly was better to have them there cleaning out the bathrooms than having them be full, but keep in mind this was at the start of the wedding so it’s not as if so many people had filled them up and they needed a cleaning - this did seem to be poor planning on the owners end by not scheduling it to be done prior to the wedding. Although I understand mistakes happen - just something to keep in mind when choosing a venue if you do have a larger guest list. 2. There were moments where it seemed like the owners were frustrated and/or arguing either amongst themselves or with the DJ. I later on asked other guests if there were any issues because things seemed tense and I was told the DJ was told by the venue owners that he needed to keep the music turned down as it was getting too loud - only 3 people were dancing and nothing was loud at all. It was nowhere near as loud as a wedding would or should normally be. It made it very hard to let loose and enjoy the night with drinks when we were constantly having to turn the music even lower. As a guest, I can say the venue was stunning but in terms of enjoying the venue, I think there was a lot of missed opportunity. If you have a small wedding of 20 people I would say this would be a nice option. If you’re wanting anything traditional and of larger size, I would recommend looking elsewhere

I attended a birthday party at Aspen Valley this summer. The transparent tent really allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of the property, while making sure guests are comfortable. We explored the trails and outdoor ceremony area as well, which is lovely. It is a unique venue and I look forward to coming back for future events!

We had our wedding ceremony at Aspen Valley in early October. I found Maya to be very responsive to emails all throughout the planning process, which I appreciated very much as I found the other wedding vendors I dealt with to be lacking in communication skills. Both Maya and Anuj were present for the event itself, and were extremely helpful the day of. The only thing I would recommend to prospective renters is to go through a recommended vendor if you will need something like a tent for the garden space- we made the mistake of trusting a family friend for a tent, and it ended up falling through with very little time to plan anything else- but Maya and Anuj worked with us for a solution that ended up working great. Great service from both of them, and I would use this venue again.

We attended an event at Aspen Valley. Wow this venue is beautiful. The setting is so perfect!! All the guest were able were able to enjoy the outdoor grounds. Those who preferred to not be outside for too long the transparent tent was absolutely wonderful. The tent is amazing, makes you feel as if you are outdoors but offers shelter and warmth. It blends into the space really well. The owners and employees were very courteous and helpful. The entertainment was great. All the facilities such as bathrooms, were clean and well maintained. Lots of room to set up seating and entertainment space in the tent.

Really enjoyed the event I attended here. The grounds were extremely beautiful making for great photos, and being outdoors allowed us to actually see some smiles in those pics, not having to mask up. Was really impressed with the grounds, the fountain, and the tent. Bathrooms were clean as well. Overall really enjoyed my time here and have recommended it to a few friends who have gotten engaged recently. Not having to worry about indoor covid restrictions is a huge bonus and being outdoors made me feel more comfortable about being at a large gathering.
