About The Olive Grove
We dreamed about finding the perfect venue for two years. Then, after meeting a previous client at a party, it all came together. It turned out she was privately selling the property she was living on, and she invited us over to see it.
We fell totally in love.
We are Justin and Elizabeth Mywaart, founders of The Olive Grove.
The previous owners loved this land and created many beautiful spaces for us to enjoy and we are excited to share and build on them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Olive Grove is a great alternative for those couples that are looking to get married on one of the most beautiful outdoor/indoor venues in the city. It offers lots of different spaces beautifully set-up by Elizabeth and her team. Definitely a place worth checking: it has a cute getting ready space, an indoor studio for photos, a huge tent for receptions, multiple spaces that can be set up for Elopements or Intimate Weddings and a main outdoor area for Wedding Ceremonies. It even has a pond for great pictures! It's definitely one of the most beautiful outdoor venues I've seen, definitely worth checking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. The venue is beautiful, there are many areas specifically made for taking pictures. The staff are also super friendly and very helpful. Even when we had a random hail storm the staff were all over it making sure everything was taken care of. I would recommend going for the getting ready house and the golf cart if you are having a wedding. We were able to get to so many places on the property with the golf cart to get pictures all over. Having the getting ready house as a retreat to get a bit of a breather was a game changer as well. This placed is designed very thoughtfully to host an event and there are too many other items to name that are little details that make this place the perfect event space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister had her wedding there this weekend and I can’t even begin to describe how beautiful this venue was. The Olive Grove is one of those hidden gems in the Edmonton area that you need to experience! The venue offers an amazing amount of space, perfect for weddings/events that need lots of room but also still make smaller events seem so intimate. There are several different ceremony spots to choose from which are all beautiful. The little house located on the venue also makes for the best getting ready space (I wish I could live there ?), Elizabeth made us feel right at home and had us looking beautiful for the big day! Elizabeth, her husband and their team were ROCKSTARS especially during the crazy hailstorm that forced us all into the tent for a good 30 minutes! And the TENT! Oh my gosh the tent is breathtaking. The beautiful chandeliers and lights hanging make it so cozy. They also come prepared with lawn games for the guests during cocktail hour, a golf cart that you can rent to make photos in the property much easier to access, and accessible washrooms for all of the guests guests! I can’t rave about this venue enough. I will definitely be recommending it to all of my friends and family. Thank you Elizabeth! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just had my wedding day at The Olive Grove last weekend and it was the best day. We went with the platinum package and it was the best decision we made. The decor and the staff were incredible - the tent and the ceremony space they helped create were an absolute dream and we had a magical day. The Olive Grove is something special and they really made me, a bride who was on wedding date number four, confident in my decision, at ease during the day and like the wait was absolutely worth it as we got to have our wedding at this beautiful venue. Our guest continue to rave about how special of a day it was and I literally wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you again to the amazing team at The Olive Grove.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, Olive Grove is a beautiful property. The house is pretty. Though staying as a guest has some concerns. Despite claims of being pet friendly, it is anything but. Lots of breakable items, plants to get into. There is no door seperating the unfinished basement, which is full of dirt and what could be mold and dangerous items. The jacuzzi tub did NOT work during our stay. For the high price of this property, the hosts are still in your space, as they need to use the laundry and internet. They made us feel uncomfortable as they were spying on our use of their house and ended up acting passive aggressive towards us. Again, gorgeous property, but the rental house was not the greatest experience in the end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my wedding reception at The Olive Grove this August, and the entire day was magical! The venue and tent are beautiful, and worked wonderfully with my decor. There are so many instagram-worthy locations to take photos on the property, and I'm so excited to see my wedding photos! Not only is the venue beautiful, but Elizabeth was so wonderful to work with. She is kind, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to any questions! My whole experience was wonderful, and our guests had such a fun time! A true gem just outside of Edmonton! <3

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our last minute, intimate wedding at The Olive Grove. The venue is BEAUTIFUL and the staff were very accommodating. Everything I visioned came to life in only a few short days. I am so thankful for Elizabeth who made my wedding happen, with very short notice. I highly recommend hosting an event at this location. There are so many beautiful spots to choose from on the property, the decorations are lovely and the staff is great!

The venue owners went out of their way to help us and to make sure we had a great experience, from booking to the actual wedding day. Elizabeth was so patient and answered all of our (many) questions. At the wedding, we got lots of compliments from our guests about how cool the venue was and how they enjoyed playing the games! Rent the golf cart if you can! It’s totally worth it! I can’t wait to see our photos - the property is gorgeous!! Book this venue - you won’t regret it!
