Pretty Pets By Donna

Had a wonderful experience with Donna and Andrew, my cat was treated with care and kindness. She left soft as a plush, tangle free and everything was done exactly as I'd requested. Would highly recommend this establishment.

We have taken our teacup Maltese to be groomed here a few times, and not only is the salon incredibly dirty and unsanitary.. but the owner Donna is not friendly whatsoever and becomes easily annoyed when customers ask for specific designs. She often takes her frustration out on the animals and becomes rough when grooming.. I would not recommend this place at all!! We no longer deal with this groomer. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

I would have to agree with some of the negative comments here. It is not the most professional Place although puppy cuts are cheaper then anywhere else. I just didn’t like the vibe so never went back.

Ive brought our small mix poodle to this place 2x. First time over covid and I handed her to the groomer and watched from behind the door. This time I was allowed to come in and view inside the establishment. Donna and her son yes are friendly but come across they are struggling groomers. As I walked in and handed my sweet Bella to them I began to look around....Yes my dog was matted and they tried to dematt her fur and did an OK job. The bath sink is rusty and the paint is peeling off. It has a huge hole in it where you can see water gushing to the drain. When I asked they said " the landlord wont replace the wash basin" Isn't it their responsibility to ensure a safe and clean environment. I got a sick feeling, as they began to work on my dog ( her son was gentle) but Donna was abrasive and harsh on working with Bella. POINT to take is my dog is super cooperative and following directions. Pulling on her chin hairs and her leg hard to put her in place was not right. They both work on the dogs and how can the dog know which direction to view. At this point I couldn't back out...They were both clipping on different sides. I engaged in small talk as I was feeling anxious and I was looking around. 3 crates there, all with dog and cat hairs surrounding the mats inside the crate and bars. I don't mean from a daily groom, I mean from years of sitting there collecting hairs. It was so gross. As I looked behind me I see a make shift portable washer and dryer looked like ...super small and towels pilled on top of it. The place is a mess, dirty, dusty. Although they have alot of knowledge on dogs, they pro-tray themselves as "knowing it all" however when she showed me the shampoo they use, claiming all organic, Was a brand Wahl ( Sulfite) was the third ingredient with no natural ingredients that I could see. I removed myself as I quickly went to go call my spouse. I wanted to grab my dog and run! My spouse said I should wait as B was smiling and doing great. Take note another dog was handed to them close to mine ending and they didn't clean the wash basin. Remark: They are on a 1 hr time limit. They rush at the end and I had to let them know that both legs looked off, one was more furry. She signed and made a face., which I could tell. The place is way too small for 2 big people working there with so many cluttered things. I urge you DONT GO HERE. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

My son and I just had a great experience here. They gave us an appointment time that suited our cat so she wouldn’t have to be around any dogs as she’s not used to them. Also I was expecting to have my cat shaved as she was quite matted but instead they took the time to brush them out and they were super sweet to our cat! Thank you guys again!

I’ve taken my dogs to many groomers and haven’t been able to find the right fit. Today I finally felt comfortable taking them to Donna. I talked to her on the phone and explained my dogs to her. She listened and wrote everything down and heard what I was saying. My dogs look great and didn’t have the after effect of when I typically take them to a groomers and they are lethargic and anxious the rest of the day. This made me feel like she was experienced and gentle. I will recommend Donna to my friends and will make her my forever dog groomer. Also her prices were great and she was very fast.

Donna is a caring and a very patient groomer. Her experience of 40+ years shows in the way she handles pups. Our Shih Tzu who usually won't let us trim his face at home was super supportive with Donna. Donna's partner also is a great assistant. Nails, haircut and bath for pups is a great value compared to big box stores.

First time going to pretty pets by donna today, and it was the best experience i could’ve imagined. Andrew and Donna were so gentle with my cat even when he was being difficult. I don’t understand where all the bad reviews come from?.. They were both extremely friendly and let me stay during the grooming process which was a very pleasant surprise. Andrew helped my cat relax as much as he could throughout the grooming, while Donna did amazing at getting it done as fast as she could but still doing a great job at shaving & trimming him. She finished by brushing him and he was in heaven! And half of the reviews complaining about the building being old as if it reflects on her work? i really don’t understand. All in all I will definitely be back to pretty pets by Donna!!
