S	Samantha Gurvin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called Happy Critters to see if they could accommodate my golden doodle (50lbs-all legs) for a bath and trim the following day. They had an available spot and explained they have a service called ‘bath and tidy’ which includes a full wash, coat clean up like trimming around the head and feet, and clipping nails. I dropped off my dog to Sandy who was very friendly and listened carefully to my special instructions. When discussing the time frame for pick up she offered to keep him until I could come back as they offer complimentary doggy daycare. Their shop was clean, the other dogs were happy and able to move about freely, and they have a secure ‘potty’ area for the canines while in their care. When I picked up my boy he was beautiful! They gave him an all over coat trim to even out my haphazard cut from a few months back, trimmed his muzzle and around his eyes and did a great job on his feet! Furry muppet feet in this snow is a never ending clean up! Glad his neat little paws won’t be tracking the dirt in anymore. Overall it was a great experience. My Rufus was happy and clearly very proud of his new ‘do’ when I picked him up and it was done for a very reasonable price. I will be back. Thank you ladies!!!! - Sam and Rufus ?
S	Sarthak Sharma on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not a big fan of this place at all. They cut my dog’s hair way shorter than we asked. On top of that the hair is cut so unevenly. The top of my dog’s head is 5 different lengths. I’ve never had my look so ugly after going to the groomers.

She took extra time to ease my mind by discussing what my dog needed and what I wanted from this grooming. He came out looking perfect and relaxed. We will definitely be making Sandy our regular groomer from now on. I highly recommend bringing your senior/special needs pets here.

S	S G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inconsistent pricing and inconsistent grooming. The first time I called I was told the charge was $25, I took my pup in and the total bill came to nearly double. After informing the staff member that I was told $25 over the phone, they apologized and changed the price of my visit. We were happy with the haircut. The second time we brought him in, I was given a complimentary groom due to price confusion the 1st time - we greatly appreciated this, and the haircut was great, however we noticed his nails were only cut on some paws. The 3rd time I brought him in, I was charged a much higher amount. I asked politely if this was due to his age now being considered an adult, I was rudely attacked by the staff member and owner. They held up his profile paper to me and said "do you see a $25 here? No. I was actually just being nice to you before I didn't have to do that". Upon further inspection once bringing him home, I noticed he had not had the cut hair blow-dried off, chunks of cut hair were coming off onto our clothes. His ears are cut carelessly, his feet are cut into sloppy shapes, and his muzzle is uneven. For almost 4.5 hours at the groomers, this is an appalling cut. We will not be returning.
W	Wendy MacNicoll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sandy and her team have groomed and cared for my Golden Retriever Willie for many man years (he's almost 16 now!). As a senior dog who still needs grooming, I trust NO ONE other than Sandy. She takes the time to book him on days that are quieter so she can spend extra time with Willie knowing he needs rest more often now in his senior years. She grooms him EXACTLY how I suggest (which I change every time, depending on my mood or the weather, lol!) and she just does such a lovely job! She really cares for our dog and I treasure her and her love for what she does every day. My boy comes home handsome and happy after a day in her spa! Love you Sandy!
