G	Glenn Lind on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A renovated and nice place to stay. Only complaint was the very noisy bathroom fan. So loud I didn't want to use during the night and disturb other people in the room.
D	D Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made a reservation in September and received notification today (November), several days before my flight to Smithers, that the hotel overbooked and my reservation for three nights had been cancelled. I spent 30 minutes on hold and got nowhere. As a long-time customer I will never return to this hotel. There is currently no availability in Smithers so I'm considering staying in Hazelton. In their email they had mentioned that they're cancelling my reservation "free of charge." A month has passed and I wanted to provide an update that I received a credit for a future stay. I think it was an honest mistake and I wanted to acknowledge the assistance of a Best Western contact that helped with the resolution. As a result I have adjusted the rating from one star to three stars.
J	John Pozer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a perfect pet-friendly room close to an exit door and super convenient for walking the dog, as well as parking and loading. Staff were great. Restaurant had good takeaway for eating in our room. A good experience because of the earnest effort of many people in these difficult times of Covid and storms. Thank you Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge!

G	Gregg Brill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really comfortable stay! The rooms are well appointed, super clean and very spatious. The service is good and the in-house restaurants offer a good selection of food and beverages. This is a place I will stay at again when visiting Smithers!

The bed and pillows, although made up to look tidy, were covered in long strands of hair. When we pulled the sheets back to look closer, saw hair and debris in the bed. The sheets had clearly not been washed from the previous guest, and instead the bed was just remade. When we asked the front desk for a bedding change, they told us that there were no housekeepers on shift at the moment. So we asked for the bedding to change it ourself - still no. Finally we requested a room change. The new room was also questionable in cleanliness, but we needed to sleep so simply accepted it.

However from our room there’s not good sound proofing and we could hear everyone coming and going in the hallway quite loudly as well as people closing their doors. Because of that I would not stay here again as I need it to be quieter.

The kids next door however wouldn’t stop screaming and could hear everything. Also when they turned their water on for the shower that was even louder. Told the front desk n no help there.
