β β β β β The particularly attractive French waitress (Sabrina I shall remember you until humanity fades into the sands of time?β³?) deserves five stars, she was a fantastic server! However, the manager snubbed us our second visit (what the heck!?) which is why I am leaving only two stars. This place used to have so much character and great vibes before the ill-attempted gentrification.

β β β β β Wow, just a fantastic experience dining here. The views are jaw dropping, such a nice pub, worth the wait on a Saturday night. Our server Kyle, was the right amount of sass and hilarity, couldn't have asked for anything more. Keep up the great work!

β β β β β Not great value. $8 for three and a half deep fried dill pickle spears. When I indicated that I was surprised to see such a small portion, the server said that the half was a bonus and there is normally only three. She then ignored our table for the rest of the evening. I get that it's a gulf island and that inflation is bonkers right now but to pay over $2 for a quarter of a pickle in a little batter is lunacy. Head up the road to Jo's instead.

β β β β β Nice place to have lunch. Camping available and marina to dock a boat. Not many gluten free options available but they do offer gluten free buns.

β β β β β Portions are big. Clam chowder is filling. Fish & Chips is so-so as the batter on the fish is not crispy. Lovely environment and good service though.

β β β β β We stopped here for lunch before leavening the island to head back home on yesterday. 17 adults and 4 kids.
We are all double vaccinated and respected the precaution rules but we got a lot of glare from one staff for simply talking to each other.
Took them long time to bring the food which was understandable since they are usually slow I assume, but food was mediocre. The fish and chips was terrible, more fried dough & burnt fries.
We paid premium price for a fast food quality experience.
Seems very nice people but not so much customer service skills.
I understand we disturbed their routine and peace but we were just a big group looking for a decent food.
Won't come back here again. Sorry.
