Good place for some whale watching - just be sure to park at the park as down further is a loading zone and access for the ambulance (water ambulance docks here)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the place to watch a sunset on Pender Island. Both nights, me and my friend went here to catch the sunset. It says this is on the whale watching trail but we never saw any. This place is a sunset spot for me, there are picnic tables provided. I would love to do a picnic there one day. Parking is right before the Marina, you have to park on the street before the signs says no more parking. It takes five minutes from there to get to the area to marina. No elevation so anyone can access this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parking lot, grassy field, swing set ... long walk along the beach flipping up rocks to see crabs ... breakwater covered in picnic tables perfect for a snack as you look out over the water. What’s not to love?
