My wife bought the 12 piece meal deal and paid extra in order to get white meat only. When she brought the order home we discovered that 2 of the pieces were dark meat [thighs]. The coleslaw that came with the meal was disgusting and had to be thrown out. Needless to say we will not be returning and will be buying our next fried chicken meal from Mary Brown's.

probably the worst location i’ve ordered from. the order was popcorn shrimp and 2 can dine meal which is supposed to include 5 pieces of chicken, 2 sides and 2 biscuits. the chicken was supposed to be spicy. received my order which had only 4 pieces of chicken (not spicy) 1 side and only 1 biscuit. not sure how you mess and oder up that badly.

Popeyes is my favourite restaurant but I’ve literally never eaten here and didn’t get sick afterwards. Thought it was just me but my girlfriend just got sick too. Some very concerning health and safety food practices here. Chicken sitting under the heat lamp for hours. Doesn’t help employees here are inattentive, slow and out to lunch. Will never spend another dime in this horrible restaurant.

If u like to eat batter instead of meat... Great place. If u want good quality fried food then go somewhere else. I contacted their head office 2x and received no reply. I guess head office really cares.

The chicken has gone down hill considerably since 2019 (new owner or management cost saving perhaps?). Staff is friendly but chicken quality is gone. We used to get consistently good chicken at this location at least once a month but the last three $60 purchases (over a two month period) have been substandard at best. The chicken pieces are different, smaller and have always got that sour chicken smell. Really unfortunate that this location will be off our list of chicken dinner on Friday.

Earlier today I visited our local Popeyes Chicken restaurant in Orangeville as I had a craving for pepper and wings. I ordered the 6 pc. Ghost Pepper Wings combo and on my way home decided to try just one. I opened the box and took a nice sized bite of one wing. Thought to myself, this isn't spicy at all. Took another bit and realized there was definitely something odd about this taste, and it wasn't the fact that it wasn't spicy. I put that down, rummage through the box and actually noticed a regular sized wing (not split) had made it into my box, which I proceed to open up with my fingers as opposed to my teeth this time. It looked funny inside (dark, almost red, especially on the areas closest to the bone) and just then a whiff of rotten food hit me. I decided to turn around and return to the store- all the way wanting to throw up because the smell which saturated my car was pungent. I held back the regurgitation. Sigh Here's my other dilemna: I calmly walked into the store, bag of food in hand head straight to the front and speaking softly, told the cashier I would like to speak to the manager and that I would wait in the corner by the door. This lady emerged after some time and I explained to her the smell and look of the wings. She opened my box and said, oh, they seem a little overcooked. I exclaimed (still in a quiet tone) "this chicken is rotten and if you could please take a sniff you'll see." She held it to her nose and showed no emotions whatsoever. She then told me to "wait whilst she made a fresh order" and though tempting (as I was still hungry) my mind returned to that awful smell and taste and so I declined her offer. She then suggested something else and I told her "honestly, I don't believe I will be comfortable eating anything from here today." She then asked me to hold on as she returned behind the counter. Soon after she calls out to me and I proceeded to the register. She already had a refund of my order on screen and asked me to tap the card I had used for purchase. I did that, even tried other cards and the transaction wouldn't take. Whilst standing there I noticed their pie display. I asked her (still inaudible to everyone else) if the pie is ready for purchase, to which she responded "yes" but it was apparent that my question interrupted her thought process. I waited until she turned to ensure pies were available and then back to me and I asked "may I please have a pie?" She nodded "yes" and handed me $10 (explaining that she had to refund my order in cash because the system is not working for my cards). I was baffled and so I stated "you've given me $10" and she quickly replied "yes, I know." I further asked, "didn't my order cost $11.29?" To which she explained "I refunded you your FULL order but you're forgetting the pie" (as she held up the apple pie so that I could better understand her." I looked straight at her and asked "may I please have a complimentary pie?" to which she seemed appalled that I would ask such a thing. She stood there looking at me with a blank stare and genuinely puzzled. So, I asked again, only this time I added, "I've left my son at home for a long time now and he was expecting me to bring him a treat. So, considering the inconvenience I'm asking you for a complimentary pie." She still looked baffled as to my impertinence and perhaps gall. I added " I could escalate this further,Β  you know. But I'm trying to remain calm and not cause a scene, despite the fact that I've now ingested rotten food and stomach is starting to hurt." She abruptly responded, "oh, OK then" and THRUST an additional loonie and a quarter (not $1.30) into my open palm. I asked her for her name, which I believe she says is "Omah (I could be incorrect on the spelling)" and explained that her manager is not there today and mumbled something more... I gave her a nod and I responded "thank you very much and have a good evening."

This place used to be a good spot for a snack, but not anymore. It's been on the decline for a couple years, but the food I received was so inadequate it convinced me to write a review. The chicken is always too soggy, the biscuits are inconsistent at best, but the nuggets I ordered were practically raw! Very sad to see my old favorite restaurant be reduced to this.

Really disappointed at this popeyes location. Service is very slow and they wouldn't fix up my order. I've have the Cajun Flounder Sandwich at other locations and it definitely wasn't like this. In the picture below you can see the fish is tiny and isn't even half the size of the bread. I'm very disappointed and not coming back to this location again.
