★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited with my wife and daughter on Sunday, May 8, 2022 for lunch. Ordered PHILLY BEEF DIP (Slow cooked hickory smoked brisket, smoked fontina cheese, peppers and onions on a Baguette with a side of Au Jus for dipping), BLACKENED CATFISH (Cajun seasoned and pan seared with lemon infused rice, chef’s vegetables, topped with out homemade peach salsa), BUFFALO CHICKEN CAESAR WRAP (Crispy chicken tossed in a mix of our homemade Caesar dressing and hot sauce with romaine lettuce, bacon and shredded cheese), IRISH COFFEE (1/2oz Kahlua, 1/2oz Jameson Irish Whiskey with Mocha Berry’s finest coffee blend), Black Wolf Lager and Iced Tea.
The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious (especially the Catfish) and our server was very pleasant and gave us good customer service. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is specifically about 1 waitress working here, she has dark/black hair and comes off like she’s in charge (I apologize for the loose description but I didn’t catch her name). Each time I’ve come here she has been rude and unwelcoming. The people I bring with me also comment how uncomfortable they feel around her and have asked to leave after our encounters with her. I thought it may be because she may feel stressed out when it’s busy, I could understand that. But alas, I’ve tried on a slower night and same attitude persists. Our guests and I have left on many occasions at this point because of this waitress. I actually like this place, especially when there are events and live music. If I were the owner I would definitely review how to treat customers with this waitress.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was okay. We had the rib and wing platter and the brisket platter, side were the creamy coleslaw, fires and smoked mac and cheese. Everything was cooked fine, but we found it lacked any flavour. We were disappointed as this place came highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a day trip to Alton Mills, we found ourselves looking for somewhere to eat. The photos, reviews and menu of this place drew us in, and we were not disappointed. I had some smoked wings and their Mac and cheese; my husband had a burger - it is what he always has and how he compares restaurants. We were both pleased with our meals! Also impressed with the service; they came by to check in but also allowed us to enjoy our meal together quietly. We have quite a few friends who love smoked meat, so we sent quite a photos to brag. If we find ourselves back in Ontario, we would absolutely eat here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice smokehouse. Visited today with my wife and daughter. My wife and I both had the ribs and my daughter had a burger. Food was pretty good. Not amazing, but pretty good. For example, a few of my ribs were actually a little cold so that was a bit odd and off putting. It the taste was nice. One thing I will say is that the portion sizes are absolutely huge. You will not leave hungry for sure! Service was also nice and friendly.
