Pomeroy Hotel Fort McMurray

We did enjoy our stay here. It is a family friendly hotel.

Really accommodating staff, the hotel was busy with a festival in town, but they really tried to make the stay great. breakfast is great, hot tub great, and some rooms are really fabulous. We had family staying so we got to see a couple of the rooms and all were clean. Great little balconies, but I would like to see more microwaves not just some rooms. I dont like the doors to the bathroom, barn door style which slide backwards, not so great idea... but i would recommend the hotel.

Great hotel, stay here every time we come to fort Mac. Clean rooms and nice to have underground parking.

I always stay here during my romantic escape from camp trips with my boyfriend. They have such comfortable beds, good A/C, the shower has this steam mist setting which is super relaxing, underground parking, microwave in the dining room, steam room and of course the breakfast. Omg, the breakfast! Toast, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, pastries, orange/apple juice and those potato cakes are to die for!. The location is awesome too. Just a short walk and you're within pubs, restaurants and drive-thrus. I also love that they're pet friendly so I can bring my little dog child. I highly recommend xx

If you plan on living here*** Moved into the pomeroy hotel in April. Since then the steam room has been out of commission Atleast twice. It has been closed for repairs again since the beginning of may. It hadn’t ever been pressure washed until I brought it to there attention. The gym is nice, except someone keeps stealing all of the weights. It has been brought to the hotel managements attention twice so far and it’s been about 3 weeks. There’s cameras everywhere so it shouldn’t be that hard to trace back and charger whoever stole them and replace them. The hottub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in about a year, water was pure salt and wreaked of chlorine. I mentioned this to the hotel staff and since then it has been emptied and refilled. Great job, please keep this up. No one wants water that’s going to burn your eyes. The underground parking is at 30 degrees all year round. Also it’s constantly packed with cars and unwanted guests since anyone can access the elevators and go downstairs to break into vehicles. Easily avoidable by making it keycard/tag accessible only, like every other floor. Everyone has to have a keycard or tag to go to your floor, not sure why they don’t just change it so you need the keycard to get to the main floor/underground parking? The A/C in the hallways for the resident floors is never turned on. When it is it only lasts for so long. Average temperature is 24.5 degrees in the hallway with no air circulation. This has also been brought to the attention of hotel management many times. The apartment on average is 26 degrees in this current weather (June 5). All of the above mentioned amenities are included in the residential lease, they have all been brought to the attention of the hotel management many times. With records to prove. As a resident that just moved in, paying a higher premium in rent for a nicer newer apartment building I expected more. Please keep up.

The room was very clean. Cereal and fruit are the healthier choices. Otherwise sausages and bacon, eggs and basic bread... are also available. Free parking! This is a residential hotel. Good location.

Hotel is beautiful, front staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very good, maintenance was extremely prompt and accommodating. Housekeeping was atrocious. Arranged days for housekeeping never happened. When it was “cleaned” it was only half done. Would have gave 5 stars but housekeeping lowered it.

Amazing new and clean hotel, my room might be just a tad bigger than my own condo I’m renting lol. Very modern, has complimentary breakfast, exercise room is good as well as the hot tub. The rooms are well accommodated with little essentials like all kinds of cups and dish ware, soaps, towels, coffee, some snacks even etc. literally had everything I needed plus more. Definitely recommend.
