After staying at Point West Oceanfront Resort my husband and I are already planning our 2nd trip. We were greeted by Veronica who was very pleasant and very accommodating. Our suite was fully equipped with no expenses spared, amazing, clean and comfortable. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Definitely a 5 star resort.

Amazing place! Beautiful, clean, well equipped suite with the most comfortable bed - with an ocean view!! Hot tub was perfect at the end of the day hiking the area. I would highly recommend to others.

I finally got out to this amazing and breath taking resort. I was blown away with this place. The view was breath taking.Normally the website pictures over sell a place, not this time. What you see in the pictures is exactly how it looks. The experience truly exceeded my expectations. I was surprised by the quality of the furnishings,they spared no expense to ensure a truly royal experience. My wife and I felt like A King and Queen. It so private and peaceful. The Smith family know what they are doing and there place is one of the hidden gems of BC. If you are looking for a place to get away to with your significant other (or with family or a group of friend) I highly recommend Points West Resort in Sooke B.C. You will not want to leave. Money well Spent. I will be going again soon, we are looking forward to it.❤

Great views. Nice host. Nice unit (top floor above main house). Few odd items. The tub. The faucet is in the weirdest spot (far wall) and the floor of the tub squeaks something awful as if the builder misjudged the size of the tub. The BBQ. This unit is nice but has the most unsafe location for a gas shut off I have ever seen. The sliding back door. Doesn't slide. It's bolted to the frame. Don't need to explain this. The hot tub has some non functioning jets FYI. The strangest is the fairly steep and bumpy one lane twisting gravel road to the property. Not recommended for meek drivers or small cars in poor weather.

The location and the room itself were just unbeatable. Directly at the beach with most of the time no one else around. We had a private hot tub which was perfectly clean & ready to jump in when we arrived. From there you had the loveliest view over the ocean and sometimes you could look as far as the US. The room was great, too. The only thing that could be added is a stove so that self-catering is easier.

Saying this place is amazing doesn’t do it justice. My wife and I stayed in the rooftop ocean front suite in July. When we arrived at the resort, which was easy to find using google maps, we were greeted by Veronica who quickly got us checked in. She showed us where our room was and told us about a few other things and then left us to enjoy it for ourselves which was exactly what we were looking for. My wife ran up to the room before me and quickly came back exclaiming that I had to come see the view. Pictures do not capture how beautiful this place is, and waking up to the ocean literally right outside of your bedroom window is incredible! Anytime we needed something Veronica was only a call away using the complimentary phone in our room. The room was nice and clean and stocked nicely with amenities. The hot tub on the deck was very nice as the evenings got a little cold and the chairs were nice for when it warmed up. The bed was very comfortable and all the other furniture and decor seemed very nice. We used the bbq on the deck to cook a few meals and it worked great. If I had to have one complaint it would be that the blinds aren’t blackout ones and so if you’re looking to sleep in it’s a little hard because it doesn’t block all the light coming in. That said, it was a very minor issue and it didn’t take away from our stay at all. We had a wonderful stay and we love to tell everyone what an incredible place this is.
