I called PODS to get a quote for an interprovincial move within Canada and they quoted me about 3800$ for a 1 junior bedroom. When I inquired about the breakdown of the price given that I had called 5 other companies who had all quoted about 2000$, the agent Diego told me he had no details and that the price was competitive. After further inquiry because this was not an acceptable answer (he gave no details and simply gave a "it is what it is" answer) Diego the agent then proceeded to hang up on me. It's unfortunate that the customer service at PODS is so terrible. Customers have the right to ask question to understand the price behind a particular service. That's just basic customer experience 101. For that alone, I would not recommend. You can do better

Used to use PODS each time I moved or stored items due to consistently good customer service. Since Covid, their level of responsiveness is a zero. Moved my business to another company mid-move. Unloaded my POD directly into MI-BOX who actually has customer service available. So disappointing for such a large company.

Terrible service! Stay away! Far far away! I submitted a request for a quote online. It told me to call in with my quote number. I did that and the rep could not find the quote. She asked for all the info again. 20 mins later she told me her system is down. She said that tech will look at it and she will call me back. In the meantime she transfer me to someone else to see if they could quote me. The 2nd rep was rude and after 20ins again said she cant help me. That's it. All she said was she can't help. I went to Facebook and chatted with them. they said there is no issue. I had to ask them to have some contact me...they said they would...3 days later nothing...followed up 2 times and was promised the same. then someone emailed me asking to call me the next day. I said yes...no call...then another email asking to call me in 2 days!! Worst service ever! What kind of business doesn't want to get new clients?!? If this is how they handle quotes...or not handle quotes..how will they handle your personal items. Terrible!

We hired Pods to move from Texas to Alberta they told us 4 to 6 weeks. They picked it up August 31 all they can tell us now is it's in Spokane WA. Spoke to a staff member October 14th, have received no communication since. Informed us that we're having problems finding a binder driver.

I have had nothing but problems with PODS! Including: -Paying for permits through city no other company needed. -Being charged "same day pick up fees" when container was NOT DROPPED OR PICKED UP SAME DAY OR EVEN CLOSE! - Being charged for insurance which i had declined. - Having to call the company over 10 times now and spending over 6 hours on the phone with them trying to make payments for my pod. Over 2 months. To which, it is STILL NOT RESOLVED! BECAUSE THEY CHANGED SYSTEM ON THEIR END IN FEBRUARY. Trying to pay with Visa Debit I have NO PROBLEMS USING ANYWHERE ELSE! And now have to go to the actual pod location to make a payment there because it is not nor going to be resolved by the company! - Collection division manager and "support" rude, not helpful, condescending and NO CREDIT GIVEN FOR THE 6 HOURS OF MY WASTED TIME, FRUSTRATION OR THE FACT THAT THE PAYMENT ISSUES ARE ON THEIR END!!!! If I ran my business like this I would be out of business! Complete joke! Nothing easy or convienent! And considering I am spending almost $400/month for the storage container! Its not a small amount and you would think they would value the business and their clients but they could care less!!!! Horrible experience! Horrible service from office and "customer service" I would suggest going anywhere else!

I have had nothing but issues with this company. They told me I could have anPoD dropped on my driveway with no issues so I booked this. Day of delivery they charge by credit card before the pod is even delivered. Driver gets to my house and tells me he can’t drop the pod and leave. I am now fighting to get a refund for this. So month end I have to scramble to try and find some other way to move my family out of our house by the weekend. Absolutely horrible company. Do not use

Beware - Falsely advertised prices! We received a quote online after which we called in to book. Once the pod was delivered we noticed we got charged more than what our quote was. The system was down so we could not see what or why we were being charged extra. When we called, we were told that the prices online are not correct and that a supervisor would call back to discuss the added charges. We didn't hear back. After multiple attempts of calling back we were finally informed that we "should have" been notified of the extra charges when we booked (but we were not) and again, the prices online are not accurate as they are just a base. So now we are paying double the price each way for delivery, local moving, and pick up of the pod. This is complete false advertisement! Why ask us to input the address and postal code to give an unrealistic quote? Would not use again or recommend. If you are comparing with BigSteelBox, they were much easier to call and talk to someone and in hindsight we now know has better pricing, even for a larger storage container.

I didn’t have a great experience while picking up some containers going to Quebec. I came at 8 in the morning and waited till 3 past noon just for three containers. They didn’t have a guy to load the truck but some of their drivers were keep coming and leaving. At 3:30 one of the driver loaded the truck finally. I don’t know who is at mistake there either broker or company. But please make sure to call 24hrs prior of loading, As per them.
