I brought a pair of brand new Mavi jeans and was told they were only worth 4.50 when they were over 100 dollars new. I don’t expect to get exactly what I paid but offering less than 10 percent seems disingenuous. I noticed the store also accepts joe fresh and George brand, so it isn’t a true consignment store as much as it is an overpriced thrift shop. The clothes horse across the street has much higher quality items and better pricing.

Good consignment store. It's very big and they really pack the place, but if you have time to look through it you can find some great stuff. Selling at this location is great--they seem a little less picky being a larger store. They tend to purchase "younger" styles than the NE store (I assume they have a different demographic shopping there) I feel like a lot of the complaints about staff at this locations seem over-the-top. The staff are fine.

The comments about the staff could be toned down, however I did not have a good customer service experience the last time I was in. I love the location and most of their selection of clothes, but the interaction with the staff is underwhelming. The staff don't seem to have any interest in their customers. On my last visit I had brought in beautiful name brand clothes, and had some fine leather purses to consign, and without even looking at what I had…I was rattled off their expectations. Example, they only take fashion from the last couple years, only if it is lightly used, and in great condition and they seemed very picky. I am thrilled at this, however why are you selling fast fashion brands like ardene, shein, Aeropostale, forever 21????? That is not being very wholesome to your expectations, cheap clothes that are not worth the consignment price listed.

Perfect destination if you’re looking for some mean girls style high school nostalgia. These girls get paid to BULLY customers. They will roast you while you’re shopping in the store and oh there’s no subtlety… What an immersive experience ???? would give 0/5✨if possible I’d take my business to their SW or NE location any day. I don’t get belittled by staff and get proper customer service.

Had a decent first experience here in the fall of last year. This was my second and last time here. When I went to pick up my clothes, I was told that they weren’t what they were looking for, “stained” and was reminded to launder items before bringing them in as it “makes the sorting process faster” and implied that my clothes weren’t clean. My clothes were literally untouched and were in the EXACT same position in the bin that they were brought in. I don’t even think they went through it. I decided to look through the store as I’d never shopped there before. MULTIPLE items I pulled out to look at on the racks had stains, markings, etc and were not in pristine condition by any means. Plus a lot of their stuff is cheaper fashion brands like Blue Notes, H & M, Joe Fresh, etc The staff here are also very young girls who give off snobby and entitled vibes. I’ve read other reviews about this location and they’re solid. Would not recommend.

I have been a huge fan of Plato's Closet NW location, I shop regularly at the store finding great deals and a wide range of styles and sizes. As well as selling my items in-store - the trick with selling is knowing what they are looking for, style, brands. H & M, Zara, Joe Fresh, forever 21 (think fast fashion and youthful). However, I've had a few hit and misses when it comes to customer service and I get that these are young girls - they're still learning. Recently, I experienced a communication breakdown in one of their promos, nothing major the staff had the best intentions. I can tell you as a business owner myself the customer service I received from Plato's Closets owner was above and beyond standards expectations. She truly cares about her customers, staff and her business. I will continue to be a loyal customer - thank you for the acknowledgement.

I love this place. They always have good offers, specially on weekends. The better ones are the 70 and 90% off. They have good brands and gently use clothes generally. Also a lot of jeans! Downsides, the shoes are typically more used and they have many more options for women than men. But I still recommended it 100%

I live far from this store so I called ahead to get an estimate for the sale of a genuine Coach handbag. They offered approximately $50-$60 so I drove over 60kms here today. I brought the bag and a pair of Ray-ban aviator sunglasses. They offered me SIXTEEN dollars for BOTH items!! I obviously didn’t accept the offer. I spent more on gas than what they offered for my items. What a waste of time/energy/money driving all the way up here for nothing!!!
