I have always had very good service from the staff at the pharmacy. They are bilingual, very courteous and helpful and very apologetic if busy.

Well took me 5 times calling and then on hold through pharmacy for 5 minutes only to be told they are out of vaccines....maybe update your message daily. The first message when you call is about vaccine so rather then having ppl follow that link only to be given another number ...the solution is simple .. State that you are not giving shots at the present time as you are currently out of vaccines

May 2020 UPDATE: Finally decided to find a better pharmacy. Brunet on 795 Bd Wilfrid-Lavigne. I just called to transfer my file to them. They asked me why and I told them how disorganized and incompetent JC is. They informed me that many people transfer to Brunet from JC in the Galeries for the same reasons. Brunet have 4.6 stars on Google Reviews so I'm going to give them a chance. Not likely that they can be worse that Jean Coutu Aylmer. JC Aylmer - Pharmacists, front line staff - none of them know what they are doing. Horribly disorganized - all of them. - They call to say prescriptions are ready, they are not - constantly - They call to tell me they have a delivery for me - I did not ask for one - They receive a fax from my family doctor, they can't see in the system but it's right in front of them - There's barely anyone in the store and you still need wait even when they called you to say it was ready ~ September 2021 Go elsewhere if you can. Read the other comments. There are so many times where they failed over the last 2+ years. This last time, I was the ONLY person in the waiting area and it still took 20 minutes to pick up a pre-ordered phone in prescription. I find that staff are either not trained to be efficient or often simply lack basic common sense. Cashiers sitting idle at one cash while another has a line up. The idle ones can't help and just point you to the line up and so many other issues. You are allowed to transfer your file to another pharmacy. I am going to do this soon - I suggest you do it too if you are unhappy.

The pharmacy staff are rude and unhelpful. I went in person to get more info related to vaccines (not Covid related) and was told to call instead since she didn't know the answer.... Can't you ask one of your colleagues next to you, if you don't know the answer? How do they not know what types of vaccines are offered at their pharmacy? Not only that, but she was rude. Every time I come here, the pharmacy section seems to have terrible customer service. That being said, the cashiers at the front are friendly, it's only the pharmacy staff at the back that aren't helpful.

The pharmacists and their staff take advantage of elderly people. My dad went to pick up an antigen test box and they told him they couldn’t give it to him because he allegedly picked one up on April 26th. HE DID NOT! he attended the pharmacy on april 26th to get his and my mom’s prescriptions, which, BTW, they never seem to get that right either, but i digress. When my dad brings home his medication, i always look through the bags to make sure everything is there. There was no antigen test box. Now, I’m not sure why we would lie about this. It’s not like they are illegal and we ate going to sell them on the corner of Principale and Eardley. Like hello? They refuse to believe that they made an error and are telling my dad that he is wrong. They’ve confused him, frustrated him and made him feel small. You and your staff are TERRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS!!!!

Only nice things to say about this pharmacy! The staff is always very kind and patient, and I've had particularly good experiences with the lab technicians - Helena especially is consistently understanding and accommodating, outstandingly friendly and provides top notch service!

Awful pharmacy. The technicians are very incompetent, they don't really know how to do their jobs. Jean Coutu doesn't hire technicians with DEPs and it shows. Customer service is also really bad. They blame everything on clients and insurance companies, they don't take any responsibility when there are issues, though I think most of the time that's because they don't know what the issue is, nor how to resolve it. Wait times are ridiculous, they charge for services without notifying clients, some of the things they do are borderline illegal (i.e. trying to pass costs to the insurance for services that aren't covered, handing out behind-the-counter medications without getting it checked by the pharmacist first). I'm on the verge of lodging an official complaint with the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec. I don't know who the hell is in charge over there but you need to train your employees better because your pharmacy is a trainwreck. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I hadn't been to this pharmacy in almost 10 years, so all my info was out of date. They quickly helped me update it, and explained my new medication. Very friendly and super helpful. All the different numbered stations make things simple and quick. I was in and out in 5 minutes!
