Went to get a dose for a needle , the pharmacist had an attitude and kept being very arrogant. Could have very calmly explained things but instead chose to argue with me.

This store is steadily going town hill!! VERY unfortunate as they used to be THE Best and with so much competition surrounding them now with Aylmers growth - I feel it's time to remove services and finally put up a review!!! I've had to had my doctors office call twice in the last 2 yrs because the pharmacy claims Dr office didn't do their side if things yet they have the proof that they have. When the proof is submitted, they didn't even apologize to the Dr office for having used their valuable time 2ce when it should not have been needed... Their hold time has increased and they don't apologize! Today, it took 3 calls, a hold time of 5 min for the 1st two calls then a 15min hold just to find out that I had been directed to cosmetics instead of pharmacy. All I needed to do was refill 2 prescriptions of which I did not have the # for one so simply needed to ask them directly. With this call, I was trying to give them the courtesy of an early call so they could have all day to fill them... I did not even get an apology nor even a thank you for trying to meet their bustle schedule.... not from the pharmacist, nor customer service, after expressing nicely my experience of today! Very Bad service and that seems to be the EXACT reflection of how important their customers are to them so at this point, I dont even know if my prescriptions are being managed properly, anymore - time to move my business to a competitor where I will have that security!! After 15yrs!!! Bye bye!!

I was approached by an employee 2-3 minutes after coming into the store to see if I needed anything and was then followed around by 2 employees one staying at the end of the aisle and the other pretending to re-arrange some stuff. Employees tried to act nice but it is very disrespectful being monitored and followed around... Idk if it's racial profiling cause I doubt they do that to everyone that walks in. I grabbed what I came in for, checked out quickly and needless to say, I will be avoiding this store as much as possible.

For years, the employees working in cosmetics have followed me around and watched me while I shop. I’ve been approached twice now in a hostile manner. I feel like I get profiled just because I look young but I have heard from other women and friends my age that they have had the same experience. Today I was told I had to check out at the cosmetic counter even though I had items from other aisles and not anything from cosmetics (I guess because the employee didn’t trust me to go to the self-checkout). It’s not the first time I’ve had an uncomfortable experience and have been looked down on while shopping in there. I’m a full grown adult woman, I have multiple prescriptions with Pharmaprix and this experience was the last straw for me to switch Pharmacists. Tell your cosmetic employees to get a grip. Not everyone is in there to steal your merchandise. You’ll lose more in profits from customers never coming back due to uncomfortable interactions with your staff than from theft. It’s 2021, this behaviour is truly disgusting.

I like Pharaprix much better than other pharmacies like JC or Uniprix. They always have what I need, including simple groceries and usually on sale. Plus, I find the staff are friendlier.

Discrepancy with payment through RAMQ and talked to me like I was stupid. I explained that’s not what happened and they just kept pointing at the receipt repeating “this is what you paid” even though the receipts they were showing were NOT what I paid and didn’t reflect what happened in real life. As if I can’t do basic math and don’t remember my own life or what happened. Bad customer service, no apology. Will be changing my pharmacy.

Both times i visited this Pharmaprix location, I was followed the entire time by an employee along the aisles. My last experience was when I was shopping for christmas gifts and looking at perfumes. The cosmetics employees never bothered to help me, yet a supervisor for the store stood next to me the entire time while i was smelling the perfumes. While heading to the cash with both perfumes i chose to purchase, he followed me as well. From the other reviews i've read, it seems to be common for people of color to experience this at this location. When i finally went to purchase, i asked the cosmetics cashier if she had certain perfumes at other locations in the city that they did not have in store. Instead of checking, or calling the other location, she simply said that she cannot verify this (completely false, she can verify but did not want to lose her commission) After feeling watched and the lack of help from the employee at the cash, I decided to leave the perfumes at the cash and went to purchase the same exact product at The Bay where i was treated with respect. Too bad for the store, they lost a 350$ sale, and the employee missed out on that hefty commission.

Reliable and nice. I find the Pharmaprix chain tend to operate a little differently for prescription medication. The staff are a little more attentive. After 10-15 years I have never thought once of going back to try the other pharmacies again. I admit, it is nice to actually see the owner on occasion and impressive that she remembers her clients. She seems to set a good example.
