Pioneer Family Pools, Patio Furniture, & Hot Tubs

We used Pioneer to close our pool ONCE. We had to drain the pool below the filter. We needed to be sure the pool was clean when they showed up (even if they missed their window). They essentially attached our cover and walked away and they did a terrible job. At least 3 of our safety cover bolts weren’t connected and more came loose over the winter. I brought in our pump and other equipment because they didn’t bother to ask. Any other pool company will spend more than 30 minutes closing your pool for $400. Do not use pioneer for their services. It’s terrible. The actual store location is a different story.

Shopped around London a fair amount before starting the pool install process. Pioneer is not the cheapest around ,but it is definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Very happy with the final product. Matt (Sales) and Matt (install) are great to work with. Very friendly and professional. All the install crews were accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the final product.

I received absolutely incredible customer service from Anne Marie at Pioneer Family Pools. I don't know if you have experience working with the various pool companies, but up until today I thought two weeks of phone tag, being unable to pay people the money they asked you for indiscernible reasons, unclear quotes, dates, and pricing were just a fact of life when trying to schedule service from any company. It was happening here too. I know what some of the more negative reviews here are talking about. Then one time, Anne picked up the phone. Getting help from Anne was an unexpected breath of fresh air, a night and day difference. I am so glad she picked up. She helped me create a quote in minutes. There were no ambiguities. She went out of her way to make sure the information I needed was delivered to me in a timely manner. She went into a discussion about the product and supply chain to help me get some details and options I did not up until that point understand. She was strait to the point, and most significantly and importantly there were no underhanded games. At the end of a 10 minute call with Anne, I could set aside the two week struggle I was engaged with of scheduling and phone tag with multiple companies and just schedule the service I needed, while confident I understood what could be expected. She was the only one who made that possible. She was incredibly professional. Questions she did not know the answer too she got the answers too right there and then. She even offered to get back to me after her shift was over to cut the timeline as short as possible. While I appreciate that, I do not want to abuse someone so helpful. I cant stress this enough. Anne is the reason I am using pioneer pools for everything now. The individual that is her is what turned this from "I might be buying another impact drill bit and doing this myself just so it gets done this year like almost everything else pool related..." to "I cant imagine why I would not hire these professionals to do this!". She made this possible. If Anne started her own business and moved, I would follow her. So night and day was her help. Ask for Anne. UPDATE: My complements to Brian and his crew. They arrived on time, and were extremely professional. I had underground wires I approximated the location of, and they accommodated that without any issues. At one point there was the possibility of problems with the bricks cracking, but they let me know to discuss it. They came up with a way to overcome the problem by drilling into three way brick joints, beveling the edges of the hole, and using a laser level to hammer the posts in. It was an advanced solution it took professionals to find, and honestly it looks great too. They even gave me general advice on pool related care for problems they saw. Brian and his crew were great. If I have the option of hiring them again in the future for services through pioneer, I will. Anne kept checking in and made sure the order happened. At one point they wernt sure if the right product would arrive on time, so they ordered multiple of different kinds so if it was possible to get any of them, they would be there. That just wowed me. I hope this convinces you to give Pioneer Pools a chance. It certainly convinced me. I know it sounds like premium service for probably a premium price, but that is not true. They're pricing is highly competitive. Thanks Pioneer Pools!

I have not had a bad experience prior but perhaps that's because I never tried to return a purchase. I bought a 40$ pool cleaning tool four days ago and it broke. I tried to return it today but even with clear proof of purchase they refused to help me. I wasn't even requesting a refund I was just requesting store credit. Not sure why they would want to alienate a customer that spends 1000+ dollars there per year. I suppose I should have believed the bad reviews.

I purchased my hot tub from pioneer. Had great service, delivery and set up. Four years later in the middle of winter a pump quit. I called, they had a repairman ( unfortunately I didn’t get his name) come out the very next morning with everything he needed to fix it. Very professional and got it fixed right away. I am very impressed with the service from pioneer!! Thank you!

Lots of products to choose from with competitive pricing. Purchased the pool in 2019, installed in 2020. Only took a year and a few hours. Customer service is not that good. My credit card was charged a substantial amount without letting me know in advance. They offered to show you how things work with your new pool, but then didn't deliver. You have to pay for this service. They cracked my concrete walkway and said I was responsible for the damages. During the install of the pool wall, it came off the track and I saw them huddle around it and snap the tab so the wall would sit into place. In the end I got a beautiful pool and not much after service. Disappointing but we get to swim this summer.

James, Ryan and team did an outstanding job. James was very thorough working with us throughout the design, even helped us with a few minor last minute changes (handrail and additional concrete deck). Ryan did a great job keeping the project moving and us updated. We couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. My pictures don't do it justice, it truly is stunning. We had explored a few other options and I am sure we could of saved a few bucks but when you are making this big of a change you really do want the best and that is what we feel we got...Big thanks from our family to the Pioneer team!!
