★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressed with my experience today! I'm almost 9 months pregnant and that was probably the most painless and comfortable I've been getting waxed. Rachelle is highly skilled and very thorough, the results were perfect. This will definitely be my go to place for waxing. Thank you Rachelle!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been going to Rachelle for a year and a half now and I highly recommend her (many) services to other people! Not only has she become a friend of mine but she provides a great wax, is extremely sanitary, uses top of the line products, and is super knowledgeable towards her craft. Josianne, another beautician at the salon, is also wonderful and extremely talented! I highly recommend Phoenix Body Studio to anyone who is looking for a professional, sanitary, and positive experience at a beauty salon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I just wanted to make people aware of the not so great experience I had!
I’ve been waxing my entire life and have never had a reaction before so this was a first; around 4 weeks ago I went in for a full leg and full arm wax. The waxing itself was relatively pain free, and Rachelle seemed to be confident in what she was doing. However, after I left my legs and random areas on my arm very very warm (I did not think too much of this).
The next day, I woke up and those warm areas were very red & very sensitive.
A few days after that, these areas darkened and became very itchy and dry. I contacted Rachelle and she told me my SKIN MUST HAVE PEELED OFF during waxing and it’s probably because she didn’t apply the oil correctly!!
She talked such a big game and then makes such a huge error like this, and not once in that iMessage interaction did she apologise for her mistake or give advise on what I should do.
Rewind to 1 month later, those areas that my skin peeled have left a dark mark! (not to mention my hair grew back within 2 weeks of visiting her!)
It’s safe to say that I will not be coming to her any more, and will be advising people against ever visiting her. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You might think that it’s strange for a man to get his eyebrows waxed but I did and it was horrible. I had an important business meeting the following week and everywhere I went I looked surprised. I needed these brows fixed fast and properly. That’s when I heard about Angel. Not only is she beautiful, she’s amazing at her job. She took my brows from surprised back down to serious businessman. After she upsold me on a Brazilian. It was my first time and she was very gentle and painless. Since I’ve had a lot of compliments on everything. Overall it was a great place to go. My only regret is not getting her number ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so impressed with my first visit to get eyelash extensions at Phoenix Body studio. Angel, the owner, was so warm and inviting and explained the procedure and ensured I comfortable as I had never had this done before. Her shop was very clean and a soothing environment to relax in, which made the time go by so quickly. She was training a new technician, Alexia, who applied my new lashes. Alexia was also very professional, and along with a very gentle touch as she applied the lashes, she guided me with explanations as she was going through the process, to ensure I was comfortable with each step. Alexia, I'm sure, will continue to grow as an excellent technician, and I would highly recommend her.
The skill and professionalism she displayed speaks highly to the training skills of Angel, the owner, who I would also highly recommend. This was one of the best experiences in a salon that I have ever had in my life. The location was also great, easy to find, and free parking which is a real bonus these days. Definitely a 10 plus rating!!!

I would love to work for her one day! Clean, peaceful & empowering business. Help support small businesses, all her ladies do amazing at what they do. I will definitely be a returning customer!
