I have been dealing with rosacea since 2006. It worsened quite seriously in 2010. At the end of 2012, it had migrated to my eyes and I was then dealing with some serious eye discomfort from the ocular rosacea. A change in diet resolved that ocular issue after spending $60.00 per month on eye drops that didn't help much at all. I knew diet was affecting the rosacea. I could never find any cleansers or creams that would help the issue very much, even though I tried sensitive skin and/or rosacea products. So, I had rosacea, oily skin and the skin was also dehydrated at the same time. I had been to dermatologists and was always given topical rx gels or creams that didn't help much, or just caused an acne flare up. The blue light therapy I underwent (3 sessions) only made the rosacea worse. Facials specifically for sensitive and/or rosacea skin didn't help much, either. I had many spa-brand skin care lines in my bathroom and nothing helped very much. Things that affected the rosacea: Taking a shower in the morning (red for 3-5 hours); winter weather (running from warm house to the car - red for 3-5 hours); coffee made my face more red; certain spicy foods would increase the redness or cause little red bumps and spots to appear. Certain foods would cause flareups. I came across the sign in front of Encanto's during August, 2017 as I was driving one day. I saw the word 'rosacea' on Alba's sign and thought I have to check this place out, as I was at the point of just giving up and thinking I would have to live with my red, splotchy, spotty skin forever. My rosacea had seriously flared in the summer of 2017 and I hated how inflamed, red and spotty my face was in some photos. I started to see Alba and she explained dietary affect on skin, and also educated me on how my skin was reacting to environment, products and foods. I started to see Alba on a weekly basis and the change in one month's time was amazing. I then dropped to a bi-weekly appointment after about 3 months of weekly visits. I became more pale, and it was strange to see my reflection in the mirror as I was used to the RED faced person. The products Alba uses are organic cleansers and creams. The Cleanser is so awesome. My skin feels clean and never stripped dry. It is the best cleanser I can recall in my search for relief from the rosacea. I used to hate putting moisturizers on my face, but the organic moisturizers for my skin type are amazing! My skin is looking much more normal and I do have the occasional small flare, but I can pin that on foods that I have eaten in the previous 2 days. Alba's approach to skin care and relief from skin conditions (some may never be 'cured' but certainly be put into remission) should be incorporated by dermatologists to help their patients, instead of just throwing antibiotics, other rx medication and creams/gels at a person, that do not actually help the skin heal. I am so glad that I took a drive down a road in my travels on Whyte Avenue last summer and found Encanto's. Thank you, Alba for helping my skin return to a more normal looking me!

I have suffered from rosacea for so many years and have used so many different prescription drugs and it never seemed to get better. I have been seeing Alba for about 1 year now and omg my skin, the facials and creams make your skin look and feel incredible one of the best things is all products are NATURAL. I no longer have red flaky skin and no more pimples or inflammation, my confidence has finally returned.
