Originally Edmonton Aveda Academy, our Whyte Avenue Location began in 2003 under the ownership of Aveda Canada. Our CEO Mona Grewal acquired the location in 2018, and she strives every day to bring this salon to the next level! The partnership between Aveda and Avenue Salons allows us to bring the greatest salon experience to each and every one of our amazing guests.

Usually very picky about my hair, I always have a clear idea of what I want and she did exactly what I asked for (if not better)! She also gave me great advice on how to style my hair and hair products I could use. Plus, she is very friendly and kind which made my experience even better. I highly recommend her for your next haircut!

Told her what I was looking for, and how I want to feel professional for my new promotion. She did exactly that. Also helped me out with recommendations on how to upkeep my hair. Will make the trip to come back and see her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aweful experience. Had my hair color done by a new talent on Friday. An educator never came to check her work. She didn't rinse my hair on time, and when I asked her to do so she raised her voice at me and commanded that I have to have it on for another 5 minutes for a better result and kept it on for at least 15 more minutes. I let her know before the appointment that I have damaged hair but because she double booked and had another client at the same time so she was too busy. I wouldn't return to this salon for any service.
