We asked the knowledgeable staff on hand who deal with reptiles what to do and the long, short of it all is we now own a lizard. Moreover, we had a bad experience with a fly culture we bought. Essentially, it didn't last more than a day or two and we were told it should last a couple weeks. When we brought this up to the staff, they handled it professionally and the manager even gave us her card so we could get a hold of her if any more problems arose. All-around, the people there have been nothing but good to us.

I got 8 fish here an they all died within a week and they got every fish in my tank sick :). And don't even get me started on the tiny snake enclosures, disgraceful pet store....

I am so thankful for their help, information and available supplies in maintaining our evergrowing pet hobby needs, from aquariums to vivariums, aswell as many nutritional food choices for a wide range of pets. Excellent choice!
A	Andre Laverne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It had been a while since I shopped here since I generally try to avoid purchasing pet supplies from stores that actually sell live animals, however my usual go tos were out of stock of a particular item so I didn’t have much other choice. I was fairly disappointed to see so many unsuitable habitats and accessories for small critters like hamsters, mice, rabbits, Guinea pigs. For example, most of the hamster cages were well below the minimum of 500 square inches that these animals need to prevent cage rage and stress. This has been well researched in recent years and I wish pet stores would keep up to date with minimum pet care requirements. And hamster running balls? So many poor critters get their nails and feet stuck in the air ventilation slits and develop resp. infection from the poor air ventilation + bacteria that builds up. Our pets deserve better.
N	Nicole Codrington on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over all it’s a good place to get pets/food or accessories. But my only problem was when I bought a bunny. A lion head to be exact. The guy that helped me told me it was a girl and he even spent some time checking. Couple days after I clearly saw she was an he. I came back and talked to the guy and he said some excuse which I found bs. Also with the lion head bunny from the time I got him he’s shows a lot of aggression. I tried everything but nothing helped. There was also another time with the same guy he was rude this time because of a little issue when I purchased my other bunny. Thankfully i solved that problem by myself. He was very quick to tell me how I was and said I didn’t do any research. And I did all of my research before making purchases. I just don’t wake up and say I want this without knowing the facts. So it was very rude of him for snapping at me and making it a huge issue.
C	Carmen Chui on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd like to give a shout out to Ryan (the Fluval canister filter whisperer) who very kindly and patiently helped me troubleshoot my filter when it suddenly stopped working (even though I purchased the product years ago and no longer had the receipt). I've been shopping at Pet Culture since it was called Pet Paradise and have always been impressed with the staff's care and knowledge.
k	karolina stachowiak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 6 year old wanted some fish, we bought 5 glo fish neon colours, they all lasted 3 whole days! 15.99 each for tiny little fish! I wish I read the reviews before buying stuff here I spent a total of over $200..$85 were for fish the rest was rocks and decoration I highly recommend not buying from here overpriced, waste of money fish all died 1 left and it’s looking like it’s on its way out too. Also they have a “line up” to look at the fish which also makes no sense there were 3 people looking at fish and we had to wait for 15 mins which made no sense we are all wearing masks Whats with the line up? Just waste customers time

As a reptile keeper, I was so impressed by the general knowledge of all the staff, but especially Steph their reptile manager, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly genuinely cared about the animals she was responsible for. We hung out by their display for ball pythons and she chatted with me for probably twenty minutes about husbandry, breeders, expos, and the animals she had there, giving notes from their personalities to feeding habits to specific morphs. Her and all her staff were extremely knowledgeable about reptile and snake care and offered very reasonable recommendations - and had a great selection you wouldn't typically see at a pet store, all well-cared for, and from reputable, local breeders. I'm rarely compelled to leave a review (especially when I haven't even bought anything yet), but I was so impressed, and will definitely be back as soon as I'm able. Way to go guys!
