This is THE place to go get your fur babies supplies from! Deb has an amazing store, wonderful staff and they’re community minded; always hosting adoption events with local rescue organizations. Go here, you’ll be happy you did.

I'm not sure if this place has a new owner since about a year ago, but I used to feel a lot more welcome in there. I had a special offer on a bag of food that I picked up from there. They took that away! I was also told that after buying 10 bags of food, I would get the 11th one for free. I was never told this would expire. When I went to buy the 10th bag and get a new one for free, they told me the offer was only valid if I had bought 10 bags during 24 months! I wasn't very happy and left the store. Will not go back there.

Would love to give this location a higher rating, but this is the second time I have tried to special-order my dog's food, with trouble. This location does not keep the food I need on the shelf. I started doing this when COVID-19 began, so I could SHOP LOCAL, and with a smaller store. I don't mind calling in my order, but this is the second time they could not find the item, said they cannot see the purchase order on my file...really? I am the only person in Lethbridge with my name, I guarantee it. My phone number has not changed in 16 years, and I have been a member of their value club for years. None of this information has changed, but I certainly don't feel like a valued customer at this location. I have decided to go to a different store, and not Pet Valu either...where I am treated as a valued customer.

Not at all happy. Not groomed as requested and charged more than quoted. Pleasant interaction with staff with exception of 2nd conversation with groomer immediately prior to appt. Had asked at time of making appt if dog could stay till around 6pm. Was told she didn't have enough kennels to accommodate since dogs were to be picked up immediately. Explained my situation and was told would have to provide kennel. Agreed to do so and sent along with shampoo. Spoke to groomer 2nd time right before appt. Was told he had to be picked up immediately after appt. If I wanted him to stay, would be a $40 charge. Became agitated when I asked why I hadn't been told at time appt made. Insisted I had been. Said I didn't recall and would arrange to have him picked up right after appt. Didn't see any point in arguing and didn't raise my voice. Assumed she was busy and stressed out. Got back dog that looked like he hadn't been trimmed at all and had been charged $71+ instead of $60 I was quoted. Called to tell them wasn't what I'd requested and charged more. Pleasant conversation with staff member who said she'd pass along to groomer. A week later effects of grooming had worn off and I could see that cut was terrible. Tufts of varying lengths that looked like handfuls of hair had been grabbed and haphazardly chopped. Hair felt as if it hadn't been washed/rinsed well and almost a full bottle of shampoo had been used!! To say I was livid is putting it mildly. Waited for a week to calm down and then called the store. Spoke to a very nice, understanding woman. Calmly and politely explained the situation from day one. Apologized for feeling I had to call. Told her that since I now have to go to another groomer I felt that I should have my money refunded. She apologized for not getting what I had requested and said she would discuss the situation with district supervisor and and get back to me in a couple days. A very polite and pleasant conversation. Within a half hour, another staff member called me, told me that they were going to give me a partial refund in the form of a gift certificate. I told her I would not go back to the store. Her response was "I know." She also said that I had treated the staff badly with all the complaints I had made. I told her I would send pictures so she could see for herself and she said the groomer had pictures. Obviously there was never any intention of doing the right thing. I took a deep breath, resisted the urge to speak my mind, very calmly told her she could keep the gift certificate and hung up. Apparently, two calm conversations stating the facts of the situation constitute bad treatment. I strongly suggest you take your dog anywhere but the Lethbridge South location of Pet Valu if you're in need of a groomer.
