If I could have given this business 0 stars I would have. On June 8, 2020, we took our 6 month old Australian Labradoodle to this groomer. I had called previously and Darlene advised "I have 43 years of experience. I think I know what I am doing!" When questioned as to whether or not she had ever groomed an Australian Labradoodle. Should have sent bells off in my head. As Australian Labradoodles have a distinct face, brow, nose and eye areas as well as beautiful curly soft coats, I am particular about our dog and this was not her first trip to a groomer. My husband took our puppy into the groomer. He advised that he wanted her shorter for the summer months. As she took the puppy from him, our puppy being young jumped up and she pushed her down hard. Second fault. We should have taken her home. So. My husband goes to pick her up some 2 1/2 hours later and Darlene advises she has to get her son whom I am assuming is a grown man, "to hold the puppy down to do her face"! Not once did she call us, she had our number and we could have gone back and stayed with her. Nope, instead she shaved her whiskers off, her mustache off her eyelashes off, her brows were gone and she shaved off the top of her head! She has been shaved like a poodle. Dear heavens, her forelocks were down to almost skin! My husband says that is very short. Darlene's response was "it'll grow"! My husband was horrified, not only at the look of our beautiful puppy, but also the glib and sarcastic response! There are loads of demonstrations on You Tube of Australuan Labradoodles being trimmed and instructional videos on how to trim them. Obviously you are not interested in being a quality groomer, just the $60.00 you charged. Our dog was not the same for the next two days.. she would wake up crying and run to us and hide behind us! What exactly did you do to a 6 month old puppy? Under no circumstances would I take an animal to this groomer. I am totally dissatisfied and unhappy with the work, the temperament of the groomer and her sarcastic attitude. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE IF YOU VALUE THEM IN ANY WAY!

I highly recommend Darlene for dog/cat grooming. She has many years of experience and my animals always leave looking purfect! I can’t say enough good things about her! She is a master at grooming cats and dogs!

Darlene runs a top notch service. She was great with my fat cat! He looks great and feels great.

I've been going to Darlene since 2012 with my girls yes I have tried a few others in lethbridge Darlene is the very best knows her dogs . My dogs love her . In fact I moved to Calgary and guess what I bring my girls back here to get groomed all the time. Never leaves the dog s funny looking always get back my cute chihuahuas.
