Manager or owner, unsure, was very helpful in serving me as a new customer. Going to be changing foods and will take the advice of the manager. Currently trying out a new product for my dog. See photo

It should be ZERO stars! Worst customer service ever, tonight. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Whomever is the manager (male) and whomever the two useless 'workers' (two males), who were working there tonight, around 7pm, definitely need to find another job. They were completely useless and unhelpful. They didn't even acknowledge nor greet me, when I walked into the store. Right there, shows poor customer service. The manager called me this afternoon, after I placed an order for a specific item, and assured me that the product was in stock and I could just come in to the store and pick it up, rather than placing an order online. So, I went there, around 7:00pm, and after searching for the product, and not being able to find it, I turned around to see one of the 'workers' just standing behind the counter watching me. When I asked where I could find such product, another 'worker' popped his head up, from behind the counter. Instead of showing me where the product was, he told me to go down a certain aisle and it would be at the end. Of course, the product, I was looking for, was not on the shelf. The one guy said I was probably looking in the wrong place. He looked at the photo from my online order and decided to go check the shelf, himself. Of course, he came back and said that they didn't have the product. When I told him someone had called me and told me that it was in stock he said "no one called you". I checked my phone, asked him what the phone number to the store was, he told me and I said, yes, I received a call at 2:37pm, today, saying that the product was in stock and to come to the store. He said that would've been the manager... I said "well, your manager isn't very knowledgeable" and I left... The one guy yelled something, as I walked out the door, but I didn't hear him... Unbelievable!!! No acknowledgement, no greeting, no smile, no help... What a waste of time and gas! You have lost my business, which is too bad, because when I dealt with Nicole, who was fabulous, just a few weeks ago, curbside, I thought, "what a great store, great location and great customer service"... Such a big disappointment!

The guy that manages or works this location has terrible customer service skills. My significant other and myself have had several bad experiences at this location.

Really disappointed in my recent experience. I have come here for 2 years, and today was the first time I’ve felt unwelcome. I just adopted a senior dog and we stopped in the store for supplies. He peed, and I offered to clean it up, but the guy working said β€œno it’s ok”. I guess my dog peed again, and he said β€œm’am can you hold him or something? He’s peeing everywhere β€œ. I looked and it was a dribble which I again would have been happy to clean up. I apologized and just said I would leave, to which the man grunted at me. I’m so disappointed. My vet is across the street and this location is convenient, but I felt so unwelcome that I won’t be returning, with or without my dog. It’s too bad, because I needed EVERYTHING. Toys, treats, leash, harness, life jacket, the works. (Though their stock was very low from what I saw)

Dog wash is avaliable, no appointment required, due covid 1 person in the dog wash area. Very nice stuff ?

There is a good selection of food and toys, but staff on cash are not knowledgeable about product or Pet Valu processes, one example being returns. Disappointed as I have had positive experiences at other locations. Will not be back to this location.

I’ve had nothing but great service here ! All staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable ☺️ I always stock up on their Churu chicken sticks for my cat ?βœ… -dog wash station is clean and they have all the tools (shampoo, towel, blow dryer)
