Awful customer service, would not give me a refund even with my receipt, never going back, the lady who was "helping me" was very rude to me, just because I look young does not give anyone the right to treat me any lesser, I over heard her say that I probably didn't have any money that's why I needed the refund. In actuality my boyfriend had bought me this beautiful set, and because of my metal allergy I couldn't wear the earrings. Not impressed at all.

Dealt with a lady named Roberta picking up a online order for a watch, she was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She took links out to make the watch a perfect fit and gave me a run down of the warranty. She deserves 5 stars!

Went to get my girlfriend sized for a ring, phenomenal customer service made us feel welcome and comfortable. My girlfriend wore sweat pants and my sweater and the lady treated us as tho we could buy everything in the store. She deserves a raise.

I purchased my engagement ring here. The agents were awesome and shared in my bliss. My ring came in a month earlier than expected and looks gorgeous.

Recently went in the store to purchase a couple of items. Roberta was exceptional with her customer service and helped us find the perfect pieces. Would highly recommend!

If you want to purchase a piece of in-store stock jewelry that is in your size you may be in luck. Unfortunately my last experience with People’s Thunder Bay was less than pleasing. We were in previous to Covid-19 shut downs and had narrowed down our choice of wedding bands and had our minds set. After following up after business had opened back up we found out that the particular ring of interest was not able to be sized down nor resized in the future if need be. That being the case we worked with the Assistant Manager on finding a suitable and similar ring that could be resized. We also added on a men’s wedding band, silicon band and a necklace with pendant. After the sale the women’s band was sent to their out of province lab for resizing. Just less than 3 weeks later the store called and informed us that the ring could not be sized down by the lab. The biggest upset was the total waste of time during our shopping process and not being able to have a wedding band for my fiancΓ© in the time needed. Covid restrictions have made the timing and organizing of events a bit more difficult. We were even considering the possibility that we may not have a ring exchange at our wedding… honestly for me heartbreaking. A friend had suggested we check out one of the locally owned stores, Marv Choney Jewellers. Upon visiting their store and expressing our circumstances the staff at Marv Choney were fantastic. People’s has lost my business for life.

Had a 2 star experience today. I ordered a necklace online and I had to go for in store pick up. Due to the pandemic I had to wait in line for well over an hour just to pick up the necklace. The people were very nice once I was in the store but I still had to stand in line for over an hour. Peoples please do like every other retailer and have some one ask each person in line if they are here for pick up or in store shopping or a separate method to pick up online orders. Other then that my experience was pleasant.

We have been working with Elisabeth to pick out a couple of rings, and just had them sent out for sizing today, so we wanted to share our experience. Elisabeth is amazing. She has gone above and beyond for us since the first time we came in several months ago. When we first came in, we had already been to every other store in the mall to browse and had no idea what we were looking for. She made the whole process fun and easy; it felt so natural, all of the stress was removed and we had a wonderful time finding our perfect rings. Elisabeth is thoughtful, smart, patient, and SO kind. She asks all the right questions and helped us to uncover what we were really looking for, even when we thought we didn't know what we wanted. We will absolutely be coming back to work with her again in the future. If anybody is looking for a piece of jewelry, we HIGHLY recommend asking for Elisabeth. I promise you will have the best shopping experience of your life with her. Thank you Elisabeth, we are looking forward to seeing you again soon!
