They have been very accommodating and quick to respond to any issues. They always provide ample notice before entering the unit. If you are lucky enough to have Damian as a building caretaker he is the best in Victoria! He's so friendly and clearly cares about the tenants he looks after. Very accessible and eager to help!

We were unable to visit Vancouver island in person, so the outside help from PH was vital. It also gave us some legitimacy that would not have come across in craigslist or Facebook communications with renters; we sounded suspicious as people from outside the country and were easy to ignore. Kim with PH was available to Skype and answer questions. She provided us with a video tour of the home we ultimately rented. She contacted the previous tenants to check on the landlord. We could not have done this without her.

When asked to do something more about it the maintenance staff and then Pemberton Holmes itself brushed her off. In the Winter the entire parking lot is often covered in a few centimeters of ice. People fall fairly often. Sooner or later someone is going to get seriously hurt. There's no doubt about it.
