★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peasant Cheese does not disappoint. Every step of the way they are knowledgeable, considerate and meticulous in quality and presentation. My favourite thing about this shop is the friendly staff who will put together a perfectly paired charcuterie board for whatever type of wine I am having. They have a great selection of meats and cheese from around the world. They also are a hit for catered events.

We asked the staff what they would recommend, and a woman immediately asked all the right questions based on us looking for cheese to pair with red wine. We purchased a holland cheese, a soft cheese, a jelly, beef and sourdough bread. It was the perfect addition for our girls wine night and everyone devoured it. Can't wait to go back!!

Michelle guided us through, giving us ideas and samples to try. She was very kind to us and very knowledgeable, explaining the ingredients and where each cheese/meat was made. What an awesome service and tasteful experience! Loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AS I live out of town and couldn't be there for a dear friend's birthday, I decided to send him a cheese and charcuterie platter. He used to be a chef, so I asked the nice person on the other end of the phone to pick some exceptional cheeses. He certainly did!
The birthday man loved his platter (we have a long history of trying to create sumptuous platters for each other), and it helped make the lockdown birthday much more festive.
Highly recommend Peasant Cheese Kensington and will be ordering from them again, preferably when I'm visiting Calgary and can enjoy the flavours.

Lots of products and items to buy, great staff that is more than happy to answer any questions you have and some fantasic pre made or made to order items. They will do custom cheese boards and items that are beautiful and tasty. Haven't gone back but will be my first stop next time I am in Calgary again, cannot wait!
