★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sand is so fine and clean. Facilities are abundant and well placed. Parking is simple and close to the beach. Handicapped assistance chairs available that are easy to push through the sand. First rate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our absolute favorite family camping spot. Love our annual trips. Great and clean amenities including a park for the kids. Stunning beach. Did the short hiking trail this year - love it! Friendly staff. Would highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a few hours visit, but didn't camp here. We went to the dog beach and it was a great spot to hang out with the dogs. It wasn't busy this time of year, but the water was certainly tolerable to go in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family just got home! And our trip was absolutely fantastic, campsite was clean, bathrooms and showers were good! And the BEACH, there are no words to describe how beautiful!!
If you live in Ontario, and have not been here YOU are missing out!! It’s a MUST SEE in your lifetime, you will not be disappointed!!! My kids are asking when we’re going back!! Our 9 month old dob pup ALSO enjoyed the park a lot! The dog beach was BREATHTAKING, trails were AWESOME and staff and other campers were so so great!!
Look out Pancake Bay we will be returning ASAP!! Xox

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing spot to stop and enjoy the magnificent span of Lake superior. Review is based more on camping. Camped at this site and the biggest issue is probably the fact that you're right by the busy highway so it gets VERY loud in the night with transport trucks. The showers here are on a sensor format and the toilets were hard to flush (hold down for a very very long time). Sites overall are clean and decently sized with moderate privacy (minus the highway).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here for the day, just to hang on the beach. Absolutely crystal water, stunning beach and great spot overall. So worth the drive. One of the best places in Ontario to go for a swim. Water temp in August was super warm. Lots of shallow area for the kids and car can be parked almost on the beach. Amazing!!
