Enter the many homes, stores and buildings and experience the days of the past. The staff are fabulous and have so much history to share.
K	Kun Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to go with family! They have a good corn maze. I guess you can visit the corn maze from Summer. It’s easy to pass this spot. We did not notice it in many years. So glad we went there this year. Check their website for more info.

The people that were working in the various exhibits were so well informed and you could tell they were personally invested in the stories and in the heritage of this site. I personally want to thank the milkmaid who spent some extra time talking to me about the community, both historically and present. Thank you so much. The land has so much history. I hope all of your families stay safe. ❤
M	Martin KO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice attraction just off the highway. We stopped by out of curiosity and were glad that we did. Entry is by donation, they suggest $10 per person. It’s a time capsule back to a long-forgotten era where a white colonizer established a ranch on the unceded territory of the indigenous peoples. He hired them to be cowboys, doing gruelling labour as ranchers and sleeping in squalid, basic conditions while he spent his days in a lavish mansion with his 3 wives, one of which was an indigenous woman. He was given hundreds of acres of land for free by the BC government at the time. It’s an utterly depressing story, but I give full points for the preservation of these relics. It’s an important reminder of BC’s dark roots and provides a glimpse into the truly horrifying history of the country. There are people dressed up in full garb and are fully in character. There’s even a postmaster who might have a letter for you when you drop by the general store! A lot of original items and artifacts 100+ years old. Worth a stop.

We entered through the main gift shop and our greeter was dressed in the attire of the period. We got a map of the ranch, which is a good thing as the grounds were much larger than expected. So much history, and they've kept the buildings and the equipment so well, it displays beautifully. And did I mention there's a candy story in what used to be the old Post Office? So delightful! Spend a couple hours to take it all in.
