Pan’s Fish and Chips is a family run restaurant that serves a varieties of premium high quality fish Halibut, Cod, Haddock, Salmon, Sole and Alaskan Pollock that fresh cooked with lightly crispy own recipe fish batter in 100% Canadian canola oil and our cooking fish method is not only deep fried(English Style). It also can be changed to choices of pan fried fish with flour or pan fried fish without flour and steamed fish for healthier choice.
Our fish and chips dishes also served with homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw and 100% in house hand-cut fries using No.1 grade Canada or U.S. potatoes. We offer our customers can substitute fries to various selections included Mashed Potato with Gravy, Large Coleslaw and Steamed Rice for free of charge and Tossed Salad, Caesar Salad, Onion Rings, Clam Chowder Soup, Baked Potato, Sweet Potato Fries, Poutine, and Fried Rice for a little extra cost. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hot fish, coleslaw with dill, hardworking staff are reasons to to eat here. Attached is a couple pictures of the of the menu and a few plates of the different fish they offer. If it isn't busy when you enter it is normal to see it fill up before you finish your meal.

I do not like to give low star reviews but this time i have to.
Our fries were left in the deep fryer way to long. I'll post pictures as well, they look almost black.
That's unacceptable.
The only reason why I am giving 2stars is because the fish was somewhat acceptable. However it was not even close to what I had before this pandemic.
The fish was not "over fried " but it did however feel somewhat old and it was very very greasy.
I'm disappointed, because i really enjoyed it the last time i went to pan's restaurant. I hope this review will help them to step up their game.

THE FOOD: This was my first time here and I’m not really into fish but I did try the crab cakes, clam strips, and coleslaw and it was delicious.
THE SERVICE: The service was good. The lady was nice and had the bill at the table ready to go before we can even ask for it which was nice.
WOULD I RETURN? Yes, for more starters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve phoned for Take Out for many years now. Generous helping of pollock & the ‘well done’ chips & crispy batter is just the way I like ‘em? Coleslaw is in a class of it’s own & for someone who doesn’t care for tartar sauce I like Pan’s?
Just a thought - maybe a brown paper bag instead of the plastic, like Swiss Chalet use, will not ‘steam’ the boxes so much? Don’t know about cost but more eco friendly perhaps?
Always friendly service too?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with the confrontational and hawty service by the “cook”. I was waiting for my order and I was just casually watching the cook in the kitchen out of interest. This triggered him dearly and he lashed out at me so I requested a refund and he said “good idea”. The front attendant was great from the beginning. I’ve eaten here before but am permanently turned off by his over-the-top antics. I am questioning the cleanliness and sanitary practices if he was that bothered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ate in many times in the past. Never disappointed. Tried take-out - the family sole dinner. Outstanding! The battered fish and the fries could not have been better. Whatever they do to kick up the cole slaw and especially the tartar sauce I love it. I have hesitated to do any take out for any fried fish or seafood. Now I'm easy. Can't wait to order again.
