Certified Master Inspectors
Alberta Master Home Inspectors are fully Certified Master Inspectors (CMI). This is the most important designation in the home inspection industry. A CMI Inspector has to abide by a strict code of ethics, has to have a certain level of paid experience, and has achieved the highest level of competency in the industry. We are experts in our field and proud to be CMI inspectors.
Infra-red Certified
Alberta Master Home Inspectors are also Infra-red Certified, meaning that we are trained at the highest level to use an infra-red camera to locate areas of heat loss within the home. This will highlight potential problems regarding increased energy costs for either the home buyer or seller. You can make a judgment call based on heat loss or retention.
IAC2 Certified
We have also worked hard to achieve IAC2 certification, meaning we are certified indoor air consultants. The International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants is the certifying body for home inspectors that have fulfilled the educational requirements necessary to conduct indoor air quality and water testing. We will test for mold and radon to make sure the air quality is high and safe to breathe.

i hired them for my first home, the appointment was set for 9 am, and this guys were there on time and got started right away. this guys are very professional and will try to give as much information. this is very much appreciated as i am new to buying a home and new to Canada, they recommended thing that need fixing right away and things that may require fixing in the future, they stayed away from quoting me any prices for fixing the stuff as it's not their job. i appreciate all your help and expertise that you guys have brought to my transaction very happy with the service i got.

While I was able to attend the inspection myself was impressed by the thoroughness of the Doug" inspector" throughout the process. I received the report on same day few hrs inspection is completed, which was very helpful since are in a time crunch to being the attorney review process. The report itself was fantastic, full of pictures and details going well beyond what I expected. It allowed me to see what the serious issues were with my first house and proceed accordingly. Doug even made himself available for questions, which was also a great help. I would highly recommend someone to use Master Home Inspection when buying a place in Edmonton!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I had hired a second home inspector and not just listened to the inspectors sent out by AMHI. We bought our house in 2019 and had AMHI come out and inspect. There were two gentlemen who bickering with each other throughout the who process, and would undermine each other.
The year after we bought the house, the two cracks in the foundation that they said would be no concern at all started to leak, flooding the one room. Then the shingles that they said should be tacked down blew off because they weren't installed at all correctly!
I would not recommend this company
