j	joe hicks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect spot. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a convenient spot to stay while fishing in the gulf islands. We will be back for sure.
R	Robert Karbaum on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was great. I arrived, room was ready, name on the door and plenty of water in the fridge. I was surprised of the size and quality of the room. And the view from the back deck is spectacular. Wi-Fi speeds were decent for Netflix video watching without interruption. The fan in the room was a welcome surprise. I sleep with a fan at home so it helped me get a great sleep.

When you first drive up it looks a little rough, like a small motel does and like the pricing would suggest - but the second we opened the door we were delighted. The "1 betroom cottage" that we stayed in is a suite and the very first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Like OCD grandma's house. It even smelled clean, not decontaminated or perfumed like most places - but 'clean'. At the back of the suite there's a patio door leading to a group deck covering the length of the building. Each unit has an awning and a gorgeous view of the harbour. Everybody we met here was happy. Our room was only available for one night on short notice but next time I'll plan ahead for three days minimum. Great value.

I really enjoyed having my morning coffee on the deck while watching the float planes take off. If you plan your trip around the Gertie Bus schedule you don't even need a vehicle to get there! The bed was big and comfy and the kitchen had everything you need. I will definitely return some day :)
C	Carl Morrow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I stayed in Unit #2 for two nights, Sept.13-14, 2016, and would definitely stay again. We loved our stay for the following reasons: 1. The rooms are enormous; my wife is in a wheelchair and we had lots of room to maneuver. 2. The view from the deck is amazing; I could spend a lifetime just watching the boats and float planes come and go from the marina. 3. The staff we encountered were friendly and efficient; also unobtrusive. 4. Providing bottled water is a nice touch. 5. The rooms are adequately appointed for a stay of any length. Nothing, of course, is perfect, so, here are a few hints to make our future stay more pleasant: 1. Please put brighter bulbs in the bedside and living room table lamps. 2. A better quality toilet paper would also be appreciated; the paper used now resembles sandpaper. * Something else unpleasant is the smell of the water. I do believe that could be alleviated with the installation of a carbon filter system in the well water supply line. They leave a very helpful binder explaining all the goings on that week in gabriolla, we consulted it quite a few times and were very happy we did. In the summer there are lots of markets all over the place but make sure you grab cash, almost no one takes plastic. The accommodations are basic, but met our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, we are already planning our next trip out.
S	Street Dogz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great stay. Rooms were big, clean, it was quiet and peaceful and the staff were friendly. Expect a motor hotel and not a five star resort and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Excellent place to unwind, relax, chill and watch the wildlife. Office is to the right and upstairs (old dude accidentally walked in our room looking for it). Gave us a good laugh.
