As one who was new to kayaking, I totally appreciate the patience and professionalism of Patricia during my lesson. She helped me to feel more relaxed both in the kayak and on the water, and took the time to teach the various strokes at a relaxed pace. Our lesson culminated in a wet exit which will allow me to relax further in the boat with less worries about capsizing. I will definitely be taking further lessons as well as referring family members

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice folks and decent selection. My canoe was missing something though, and nearly 2 months later I haven’t received the part yet. They keep telling me that it hasn’t arrived yet, so I continue to be patient, but that patience is wearing thin. The slow speed is likely due to covid, but that’s getting to be a pretty old excuse as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went Otter Valley Paddle Sports to check out their kayaks, in late summer.We had been looking since mid-summer, for a good quality sit-on kayak, that was affordable. We found exactly what we wanted here, and arranged to pick it up a few days after.
We met all the people who worked there, who were so helpful, especially with the loading of the kayak into our van.
After 2 weeks of tremendous fun on the water, we returned and bought another kayak there.
Excellent customer service, excellent products, and pricing. It’s worth the drive!

Highly recommend a visit. We are enjoying our new Old Town units and appreciate all the patience and time spent by staff to aquaint us with all the required info to get started with this fabulous sport. Thanks guys!

They pulled one out of storage that they didn't have on their sales floor and had it ready for me to try when I arrived. The sales support was exceptional and friendly. I am a larger gal, so I really had a lot to consider. They took me seriously and never made me feel foolish for wanting to be on the water, they just helped me get there. I would not hesitate to make the drive again anytime. Cannot recommend enough. They also loaded and strapped my boat to my truck, it didn't budge all the way down the 401. Thanks guys!!
