Best gel nails I ever had ?

I called an afternoon and got their last appointment at 6:30 for a regular pedicure. They greeted me and I was so happy to see they had the color I wanted! OPI, China Glaze and other brands are available. Service was amazing, the lady was quite friendly and nice. It is totally worth it for 25$. Location on Kingsway is also a plus for me. I’d go back there to get my mani done next time. Thanks again Orchid Team!

Called at 2pm on a Wednesday and got spots for 2 pedicures for my daughter and I. My friend Tammy told me about this place. Great prices! Great quality work. Nice team. Has rewards points system. Added on a few waxing services while I was there - I was happy Ana and team could fit it in as it saved me a trip. Ana did some incredibly thorough work on my eyebrows! (Tint, tidy) - took longer than the threading place I have usually gone to but very thorough and the tint was brushed in. I expect it will last longer than usual! Thanks Ana!

I got a mani/ pedi done and it was really good! The staff were so friendly and caring! My favourite part is how they used disposable tools for hygiene purposes and then gave it me on the way out too! It’s the cutest little beauty centre

I've lived in this area for 17 years and I have known about this salon. I think the reviews have prevented me from entering it years ago, and since my usual salon has changed ownership, I thought... why not. The staff were generally friendly and pleasant. I was a walk-in so I expected to wait. I was surprised at how quick (less than an hour) and gentle my manicurist was with my hands. I usually get nicked on my cuticles and bleed everywhere. I usually come in knowing my nail shape and the colour. I liked the paint job...a bit sheer on my nails but I know it's because of the color and the formula that makes complete color opacity near impossible. I prefer simpler manicures and lots of hand massages. I did see that the buffer and the nail file weren't new. My hands were sprayed with alcohol several times so I hope that it worked. Update: the last few manicures left my nails uneven. Last Friday, my nails were filed right down to the bed. I have naturally long nail beds and I did not ask to reduce the length. She had cut me because she pushed down on my cuticle so hard and half of my nails are too short. I ask for very simple manicures to not get terrible results. If you could see my nails right now, the nails are painted but you can see my nail bed peeking underneath. I should have stopped the manicure right when she cut my middle finger. I might still have had ok nails. My fingers can't put handle or apply too much pressure and I assume it will last for a few days. It's painful and I'm not happy. I didn't pay to come out in pain and have bad nails. For a few days, I had yellow pus coming out of the wound. Today: I called the manager and she was good to hear me out and she apologized. Hope it never happens again, though I'm never coming back. I don't want to take a chance.

I have been getting mani & pedi acrylic/gel nails (specifically French tip) around the world for over 10 years, and the ladies at Orchid outdo themselves! Their obvious experience and attention to detail makes me miss them when I am out of town. If you're looking for somewhere that will take care of your skin as well as they take care of your style, I highly recommend Orchid!!!!!

It was very disappointing. My daughter and I got our acrylics removed and had a mani-pedi and manicurist ground my nails down too much in a few spots and they are still very sore weeks later. Also, she buzzed the underside of my nail and hurt my finger. The nail polish was chipping off after just a few days because they just did a quick paint job with no base coat. Also she rubbed off around the cuticles when she was cleaning up the mess and it looked like I hadn't done them for week or two.

Took my guy for his first pedicure, the shop managed to accomodate 4 of us last minute. The staff were just wonderful even though the dudes feet was super hairy they managed to make him feel not embarrassed
