β β β β β I don't think you need anymore introduction or explanation to this place. It's basically a fancier Japanese two dollar store. The store is clean and organized. Lots of interesting cute items will lure you in and before you know it, you have a basket of stuff that you simply must get!

β β β β β I was at the Cafe for the first time on Sunday with my son. I ordered a crepe to share since we were not too hungry. The young girl at cash was very nice but it was very obvious they were understaffed. Their latte machine was broken so I couldn't get a latte. She took the order and also was responsible for making the crepes. A line up started. Half another later I get a crepe rolled up like an ice cream cone. That's not how the photos displayed the crepes. It's hard to eat and difficult to share. An older staff, a lady shows up at this time. I asked for a plate to share. She gives me attitude saying they can't give out supplies because they just don't do that. So rude. The service and the food is so not worth the eait. I am never going back there again. Only reason I gave one star was for the nice young girl who sincerely was trying to help

β β β β β this is the biggest oomomo location i've been to. it covers 2 floors in the mall. you can find anything that you need here at great prices. it even has a cafe selling crepes if you need a break from shopping.

β β β β β One of the best stores ever. I love this place, has Japanese goodies and daily goods. Everything is priced really well, and comes from Japan for the most part. This location has a crepe bar as well, which I didn't get the chance to try, but it was pretty busy.
I always buy fuzzy socks and little food bins when I go. Usually get waaaaay too many goodies when I go here.

β β β β β Lots of different items such as stationary, snacks, etc. Things there are really cheap too! Most things are around $2.50. Would recommend to go there if you want to buy something cheap.

β β β β β I bought some plates at the Oomomo Metrotown branch. As they didn't have the quantity I needed, I went to this store to get the rest of that. That was double priced at this store. When I showed the invoice and the pictures of that item on the other store's shelf to the staff, they called the store manager. First, he wanted to convince me that I was wrong and that the plates weren't the same thing. But after he realized that I was right, he simply said it was as it was and I could go to the other stores to buy my stuff. I said that as a customer I expect the same pricing at all branches of one brand, he responded that they do have their own policy and they don't care what I expect.
I attached two pictures to this review, of which the cheaper one is at Oomomo Metrotown and the more expensive one is at this store.

β β β β β This is the Daiso look-a like, that is definitely not Daiso. The selection of merchandise is different, and prices are definitely different, but I guess that's to be expected now that the Fairchild Group decided to do this on their own, as opposed to paying Daiso Japan for franchise rights. In any case, this store at Aberdeen Centre was busy with shoppers, so it still has some appeal. Of interest is the variety of Japanese snacks & beverages, although their repetitive placement in both floors seems more like a space filler strategy. There used to be a time when a special trip to Richmond was in order, Daiso was a destination... I don't think this applies anymore.

β β β β β Super interesting store on 2 levels with all things Japanese from snacks to household items. Take some time to browse. The have a little cafe that you definitely should try. In Aberdeen Mall.
