For the informed traveller, a quick google search of the CDC or Health Canada websites provide all the necessary information for traveling. And you can print out your own list. The wait was over an hour. The clinic is a mess. Very disorganized looking. Dr. Gindi is very polite, but I don't understand why my own doctor couldn't have supplied me the medications I required. For $140 for two, we certainly didn't receive any special information.

This is my second visit to this office in 4 years. To be honest, I was quite satisfied with their service. Right away they give you a folder with a bunch of information that you can read about. Sure it takes a bit of time, but it's the same as any other doctor's appointment. Dr. Gindi was so kind to myself, as well as to my worried mother! He made sure to space out our appointments so that they worked with my schedule, as well as with insurance. I'd recommend him for sure and will definitely be back.

Dr. Gindi is fast, efficient, and very knowledgeable. My family has been going to this travel clinic for its intended purpose β€”Β to receive consultations on travel β€” since 1996. To our surprise, the clinic has maintained remarkable electronic records of these visits, even with 22 years in between! $90 consultation fee and resulting immunization shots were 100% covered by employer benefit plans, so this should not be a deterrent for anyone who needs vaccines before they travel.

I used this clinic because my other option, Passport Health, was featuring a TV-advertised med for travellers diarrhea on their website which is actually of little use for that condition. Dr. Gindi did not bring that up at all. Dr. Gindi used the travel recommendations from the CDC as well as the UK equivalent and pointed out a difference in the malaria recommendation for our destination, giving me the option to choose. He made sure we have our shingles and tetanus shots up to date. I like that he gives you scrips so that you can compare med costs at different places, rather than push you to use the on-site pharmacy. He has a good stock of bug repellents etc. at reasonable prices to buy at reception if you want to get them. Only negative it took an hour after our scheduled appt time to be seen altho we needed 10 mins of that for forms. Also, as with other clinics he charges the consulting fee for both me and my wife even though we will be travelling together.

We had visited Dr. Gindi 11 years ago and we were very satisfied so we decided to go back to him. Even though we had an early appointment we had to wait for an hour to see him. When we finally went in he rushed us through the process hurriedly explaining different options He then gave us prescriptions and a list of over the counter products. While we were still going through the paperwork, he brought the next patients into the room and we had to leave. After getting home, we realized that he had written the same prescription twice under my name and there was no prescription under my husband's name. We called the Clinic to find out what should be done to remedy the situation. They told us that we can have the pharmacy call them and they will clarify the situation, implying that it was a simple mistake. At the pharmacy we asked them to call the office, which they did. Unfortunately it was not a simple fix and the Clinic in fact required that the prescription be faxed to them. After an hour the pharmacy had not received any response and we finally gave up and left. We think he is a good travel doctor however we were short changed with this "quick and hurried" visit. I would look at other travel clinics in the future.

Dr Gindi was great . Knowledgeable. Funny and friendly . Did not wait long, only about 45 minutes including filling my forms and buying travel things. He suggested over the counter medicine for my trip and precautions but never pressured me to buy stuff. The shots were very quick and fast! Receptionist was friendly and nice! I got a tablet pen and a luggage tag for my trip too!

Knowledgeable, professional and competent. An excellent experience. (ps don't complain about consultation fees ... every travel clinic has this fee)

I’m so happy that they were able to help me. I was struggling to find an office that could get me an appointment for a test for travelling and I called them close to their closing and they helped me get in and get a test in time. Reception is an amazing woman who was very understanding of my situation and when I got there was sweet to me and helped me calm down after rushing around. Dr. Gindi was very nice as well and is willing to get back to me on his own time which I appreciate immensely! Thank you very much
