C	Chelsea Shih on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Mexican food in Burnaby!!!! - Carnitas Taco was melt in your mouth good. - Birriamen (Ramen in Birria Soup) was unique and full of flavor. - Avocado toast was sensational with a guacamole twist. - Dirty Matcha Latte was well balanced and had the right amount of sweetness. Very nice and friendly servers. The food serve fast and fresh. Can’t wait to come back and try their other items and 4 for $10 Taco Tuesday!!!

N	Niven Pong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit out of the way for us, but we wanted to try and were in the neighborhood. Had chicken tacos, a beef taco, Olivo chilaquiles, a latte, and a blue lavender latte. Funny, you'd never think you'd find good food in an industrial area, yet here it is! First the coffee: The latte was good, I'd get it again. The blue lavender latte we got iced - was interesting in color and flavor, I'd get this again as well. The food: The chicken tacos were legit! 2 small soft corn tortillas, chopped white onion and cilantro on top. I wish I had a squirt bottle of the hot sauce to continue to put on the taco. The beef taco was also good. Chilaquiles: I have tried many in the lower mainland, and they all were disappointing. The ones here at Olivo did not. They were surprisingly good! My only complaint, I wish they were bigger, because they were good! Comes with eggs on top, rice and black beans and either Cotija (or Feta) cheese on top. If you are craving either of these dishes, come here. But they are only open till 3:30pm most days. Also, I get that families with kids aren't their primary customer, but my one recommendation is for them to have a kids high chair available. The food's good enough that I'll bring my own next time. Lol.

This place is cute and is quick to become a neighborhood gem because they serve delicious brunch (with a Mexican twist!), along with great coffee & tea. To top it off, their service is amazing. You can really tell they care about their food and their customers! I recommend the chimichanga and the tacos and the croffles!!! Portions are quite generous (esp the tacos) and the prices are fair. You must also try the blue lavender latte! Honestly, everything is good. We’ll surely be back!

Although this place is a bit hidden (located in an industrial complex), it can get busy during the prime rush from what I recall. Had a bit of trouble finding close parking. Most options appear to be Mexican/cafe food such as the pork carnitas bowl that I got to go. It actually turned out pretty good but it would probably be more enjoyable to have dine-in.
