Fire Pro is an exceptional company where the quality of their inspections are some of the best in all of Canada. Having worked there, knowing the current employees, and having recently worked in buildings they currently maintain I can confidently comment on this company. The training at Fire Pro is well known across all companies in the lower mainland as one of the best and produces some of the most competent technicians in the fire protection industry. At the time of this review there are currently 928 registered technicians in ASTTBC and I can confidently say at least four of the top 10 technicians work and train there (DJ, Pat, Rob and Curtis) and I've personally benefited from their training. You'll be hard pressed to find a more competent company to do your fire inspections and if you're looking to improve as a technician and expand your knowledge this is the best company to work for in my opinion.

Great service, knowledgeable and fairly priced (about a 10% cost savings in switching over our annual fire alarm inspection to Fire-Pro). The sales staff were prompt in response and communicative while the techs were great in clearly explaining what had happened along with providing a fast, efficient resolution to our scenario. Highly recommend this company!

Sometimes it is the little things that count. Over the last several years the staff and technicians at Fire-Pro have helped us complete the annual fire extinguisher inspection required for my wife’s daycare. It is a small service in terms of cost but vital nonetheless. This year when I arrived at the door a posted sign suggested calling to receive service. I was about to dial when Shan came to the door and then outside to see what I needed He took in two older extinguishers for recycling and replacement and one for inspection. He would have everything ready 9:00 am next morning. Shan was gracious and friendly, exactly what I have come to expect from reception, technicians and managers. I can’t think of a business where I have had more prompt or attentive care. Communication skills and prompt response are in the the company’s DNA. Check them out; you won’t be disappointed.

Liam and Lester of Fire Pro were very professional, efficient and accommodating during their 2 day fire inspection work at our site. Liam was very pleasant and respectful to all the tenants throughout the day and always had a positive respectful attitude towards the residents of our building. Appreciated thier willingness to go beyond what was typically expected from them. Thank you.

Fire-pro did a great job at my building! Adam was very helpful and polite to me and my family. Every time I saw him in passing he was working hard and professional. It’s nice to know our building is in good hands with this company.

Fire Pro Technicians Avin and Ryan did a great job inspecting the units in our building. They were kind and accommodating and explained the whole process to me and my fellow council members. We recently hired Fire Pro at our building as our last Inspection Company left us very dissatisfied. Would highly recommend!

I wish that there is a zero star option so I can rate it as such. In December 20, 2019, AWM Property Manager Kyle called to inform me that one of my condo units at Harvard Gardens missed the smoke alarm inspection. I immediately called my tenant to find out. My tenant told me adamantly that the fire inspection technician from Fire Pro fire protection Ltd. did inspect the smoke alarm inside the condo unit on Oct. 8, 2019 and the live-in caretaker Richard can attest to it. I called the Fire Pro office in the afternoon of Dec. 20, 2019 at 2:40 pm and requested the fire inspection technician to verify it. Mckenzie Howie, who is Fire Pro owner Andrew Howie's daughter, has been very rude toward me. She refused to contact the fire inspection technician and claimed that she does not have time to deal with such issue because "she has more than 9,000 strata unit homeowners to deal with." Mckenzie said over the phone that I can call back tomorrow if I want to find out more. I was quite upset. I called again on Dec. 21, 2019 at 3:45 pm to talk to Mackenzie, who is the "Business Development Manager" at that time in the Fire Pro office. Mckenzie still refused to provide the requested information to me. I have both phone conversation audio-recorded. In Dec. 23, 2019, I send an email to complain about this incident and demand a written apology with copies to AWM Property Manager Kyle and Cody. My email were ignored until I disclosed that I am one of the strata council members. Only then, Andrew Howie send me a copy of the Fire Alarm Inspection Report on Oct. 8, 2019 for the strata building via email on January 7, 2020 as I demanded on Dec. 23, 2019. Andrew Howie declined to hear the audio-recording of the aforementioned phone conversation between me and his daughter /employee Mckenzie and chose to defend Mckenzie's disrespectful manner toward me, therefore he refused to make written apology to me on behalf of his daughter /employee Mckenzie to this day, January 30, 2022, a little more than 3 years later.
