★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've lived here for almost 2 years and I just have to give a huge thank you to Shawn. He is by far the quickest employee they have. We have had an issue with our dishwasher since April and have gotten nothing but the run around from everyone in the office. Can't get the part due to covid. Called today at our wits end with waiting for more excuses and lucked out and got Shawn. Thanks to him our issue will be fixed today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I booked an appointment to view a rental that I was told was available, scheduled it a week in advance. To my disappointment when I arrived to my appointment I'm told that they forgot that the place I was ment to view wasn't just already rented, it was also so under construction that I couldn't even see it. So instead they decide to show us a rental that is disgusting top to bottom. We're told after that we have to give them a deposit just to be on the list to maybe get a place. Definitely not getting my business, this was extremely unprofessional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has been my home for 24 years and it's been poorly managed for at least half of that time. No project is ever finished. My door still has pieces of red showing through after they decided to paint all the doors black more than a decade ago (you will see pops of colour all over the community- they never finished it). They stopped properly landscaping about 6 years ago (they do mow- inconsistently) and they removed most community planters and benches about 15 years ago. Half the sidewalks are inaccessible and in ruin. A wheelchair, walker, or stroller could never use them, and the charging port in my stall hasn't worked for at least three years. These are some of the bigger issues.
The garbages are constantly overflowing due to people dumping. As a result there is a pest and skunk problem.
My dog was sprayed in our backyard last night because the fences were never built proper, my backyard slopes, and there are gaps everywhere.
To boot, I haven't had a washing machine for over a month now, with absolutely no solution from the office. As a house with 4 people including two kids with various activities, we NEED to do laundry, and often. I have spent $200 in the last month hauling my laundry in and out of my house to the laundromat.
I'm embarrassed to have people drive into my community, when all you see is garbage flying everywhere. As individuals, the workers seem to be trying their best but they fall short. It's mismanaged, sloppy, and honestly I don't need the attitude every-time I call to see where the heck my washing machine is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The resident manager at this location is extremely rude and disrespectful. She speaks to residents anyhow and we wonder why she still has a job. This needs to be taken very seriously hence the high turnover. Very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oak hill Estate is a great place to rent. It’s located in a prime spot, where you are near super markets, public transits, library and schools. We were renting there for a year and had not issues. We moved because we bought a house.
The staff is amazing, especially Donna Marie, who was always helpful and answered all our queries. The maintenance team were excellent as well. They cut your grass in the summer, clear your path in the winter.
I highly recommend this place. Our home away from home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rent goes up on a yearly basis. Rented there for a year. Febin "fbaby" will lie to get you to rent, only to say he never said such things. He had told me there was a garage, as I moved from edmonton I took his word. There is no garage. Multiple lies from staff, always giving the run around. Donna Marie will judge you based on your looks and do everything in her power to make things harder (including getting your security deposit back). You'll have a much better time staying somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've resided at Oakhill Estates for over ten years now. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here.
The office staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make make our stay here a positive one. A special mention to Donna who works in the office. I would swear she lives at her desk as she is always there. She is a joy to talk to and always provides exceptional customer service.
Pre-COVID, the activities provided to the residents by Boardwalk included a BBQ and fun day for the children. Boardwalk continued to support families during COVID by providing an option for children to enrol in a Kids Club that included a monthly themed surprise box for them. My daughter continues to look forward to her monthly box. I heard they will be adding a basketball court and a playground soon. I have no doubt that this will add alot of joy to our small community.
Maintenance issues are addressed in a reasonable amount of time, depending on where they fall on the urgency scale. I've never had to wait long for any repairs my suite required. My only request here is please stop painting everything outside black and gray. They very depressing colours and should be reserved for a navy ?
All in all, you can't go wrong renting at Oakhill Estates, especially if you have children. We look forward to seeing you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made an appointment to view the 4 bedroom townhouse at 1 pm today. We drove across the city for our appointment. Just to be told they where meaning to call us but didn’t have a chance. The 4 bedroom was rented. Huge disappointment
