Arrived on time, we're polite, fast, and very efficient. This was my 1st time using movers and am happy it turned out well.

Terrible customer service from even the manager, I have been left ghosted and a deposit of $500 was taken... I felt really confident with this company as I started my moving inquiry 50 days ago, and my move (interprovincial) is now 33 days away... They have a deposit of $500 and have now changed the terms that do not work for me. I have called, emailed, and now I'm posting... I cannot get anyone to respond to me even though I am being very clear through voice mail and email requesting a manager or owner to contact me and explaining how upset I am (this started 4 days ago). Now I have sent emails (since I can't seem to get through to anyone) saying I want to cancel and a refund... Still nothing! Their reviews are great, but I cannot review them on their move. They say transparent prices and stress free move, well their terms are not transparent and it is definitely NOT stress free, and I haven't even moved yet! UPDATE**** Juliana from customer service (bless her) just called me back and everyone is sorry but too busy to contact me, I accepted a refund for the deposit which will come through on Thursday. I will not be changing my 1 star, although she deserves 5 stars... To have no one higher up even find the time to send me an email or call is unacceptable to me, even a quick response saying I understand your frustration, please hang tight for a day or two would of been acceptable. Adrian, as I understand you are the owner, perhaps a coaching moment for your team to find the moment to reply when a customer is literally begging for a response. When you have given money and you’re trusting a team with your families belongings, for a 1300km move. Unfortunately I cannot rate them on their actual move service as we did not get that far.

AWESOME company! I had TONS of very picky requests and they accommodated every single one of them. I was definitely that difficult customer who asked for too many modifications. And I was a mess before my move, stressing too much about COVID. But everyone in the team was amazing. Juliana was awesome from start to finish, making sure that she was on top of everything. Moving is stressful but she took on all the work and I felt SO relieved that I only really needed to worry about packing. And even that was alleviated because the movers themselves (Craig and Phil) were amazing. All my stuff, especially the ones that didn't come in boxes (furniture) were handled perfectly. They were very careful, accommodating, and got everything done in way under the estimated amount of time that was given to me (aka, I paid for only half of what I was expecting!!!!). Bonus that Juliana was super friendly and willingly took on all my requests, and Craig and Phil were extremely reassuring about my health and safety during moving day -- really funny guys too, which made the entire experience of moving so great (and unexpectedly, a lot of fun). Would hire (and recommend) them again and again and again!

Appreciated the professionalism and good customer support from Maggie and Adrian P, even though I ended up going with another company. They have the expertise and equipment to take on a commercial move and experience working in Toronto. After putting down a deposit I had to cancel and the deposit was returned no problem. As with everything, ensure you closely review the quote and ask questions. I had not realized I would be charged for their driving time to and from Hamilton (where their trucks are) for a small local Toronto move, and that ended up making the price prohibitive. It is not unreasonable, but I do wish it had been clearly disclosed earlier in the process, especially because the google maps pin is situated in Toronto and it says "Number 1 Movers Toronto". Nonetheless they were very professional and returned my deposit.

This company helped us with a local move and I honestly can't recommend them enough! They arrived early and had a thorough conversation about our needs. Number1Movers definitely made it easier for us and cared a lot about fitting as much as they could while protecting our furniture and moving quickly... Really great service and very easy to work with. Highly recommend
