★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, great food and a very cool restaurant. The hummus came on a massive plate and was easily enough for 3 people. The cauliflower appy was pretty big as well. The lamb was perfectly cooked and flavored with a great side of veggies. It was all very well done and the service was very attentive always making sure our water was full and checking routinely if we needed anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there during "dine in Vancouver" and the food was great as were the staff. The Strand out by far was the creme brulee which unfortunately isn't on there regular menu (personally I think this is a shame).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been eating at Nuba Kitsilano for years whenever we are in Vancouver. It is always excellent food and a quiet atmosphere close to everything in Kits.
However this time was just exceptional. Najibs special cauliflower and the house hummus/pita are always amazing but our Waiter Serge suggested trying the muhammara (Roasted red pepper with pomegranate molasses, seeded chilis, topped with walnut.) and the mushroom hushwie (Caramelized mirepoix, sliced portobello & crimini mushrooms, cinnamon, mint, & sumac. Served with hummus, avocado, & herb tahini) along with Turkish coffee........... we thought we had died and gone to Heaven!!
My son (a Vegan) selected the Mjadra (Stewed organic green lentils cooked with brown rice & jalapeño. Served with avocado & caramelized onions.) which was also fantastic.
The great food was made even better as Serge turned out to be the perfect waiter, sincere and helpful, immediately there when we needed him but utterly unobtrusive the rest of the time. That level of professionalism is rare in our experience at any restaurant.
It really was a wonderful experience and we can't wait for our next trip to BC to come to Nuba Kitsilano again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Lebanese restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere inside. We sat in the back room which had a ceiling past the second floor. I can imagine it having more of a courtyard feel during the day. Service was nice, no complaints there.
We walked in for dinner on a Tuesday evening and were lucky to catch a spot (I'd recommend reservations if you can). QR code to scan the menu — be sure you scan the right one (lunch or dinner).
For 3 people, we got a bunch to share and had leftovers to take home. We got 1 cold mezze (baba ganoush), 4 hot mezzes (Najib's special, chicken shish tawook, lamb hushwie, spicy prawns — all their most popular dishes), a lentil soup, and the watermelon feta salad. Its hard to choose a favourite! Najib's special took a while to come but I guess they roast their cauliflower to order :)
Portions are reflective of the price and most are served with a generous helping of hummus (so I wouldn't suggest ordering hummus on its own, unless you're really obsessed with hummus).
The atmosphere, the food, the service — all things that have earned a 5 star ?? no doubt I will be back to try their lunch plates

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Word of mouth had Nuba in Kitsilano as a very good option for Lebanese food. It didn't disappoint. Made a reservation for dinner, glad we did, the place was super busy on a Friday night. Upon entering and confirming our reservation, the hostess there asked us to show our BC Vaccination Card and ID, which shows they are following Provincial protocols to make everyone safe. Once at our table we ordered a round of drinks, while we checked their menu, but our mind was set up based on a previous recommendation: it would be "La Grand Feast", a platter for 2 guests that can be ordered for 3 or more if need be. The platter is a generous serving that comes in 2 plates and includes (copied from their menu), "hummus, baba ghanooj, tabouleh, olives, pickles, feta, fattoush salad, Najib’s Special, roasted potatoes, lamb chops, spiced prawns & chicken skewers", and of course pita bread. The flavours are amazing, rich in spices that add textures and make every item served a delicious experience. Unfortunately, no room for dessert... next time! Service was friendly and attentive, prices reasonable. Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked in and were completely ignored for the first couple of minutes while their manager (tall blonde lady) was walking around looking at us and walking away. We then were asked to sit somewhere by the front door and I insisted to sit somewhere else. Food was over priced for the quality. We ordered the bison steak which was very little and cold ? We ordered desert it was terrible? Overall experience was awful! Do not recommend it to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I haven't been here for awhile, since pre-covid times. We were not disappointed. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, and the service was attentive and efficient. We had a wonderful meal...just like last time.
