Sunview Patio doors builds an inferior product. As the owner of a construction company, I like to install products that are backed by the company. The seal went in a patio door and the service department advised that the warranty is up and that they could not do anything about it. I would not invest in products produced by them. A patio door should have a lifespan of more than 11 years.

Purchased house 4 years ago which had 2004 Sunview Vinyl patio doors. Insulated glass units had already failed with condensation and dust trails visible. Warranty only applies to original purchaser and does not cover labour costs to replace. Now door locking mechanism is starting to fail. Previous house with 30 year old units unknown brand still condensation free. Will not be considering Sunview for any replacement doors.

This place is a joke. I came in 2 days ago to pick up handles that needed to go to a job site right away. First of all the Jamaican guy that was "helping" me out was high out of his mind and couldn't even talk to even try to know what i was talking about, so no help there and I couldn't pick up my handles, I told him I will be back tomorrow so he can figure it out and have it ready for me. When I came in yesterday, the manager told me that the handles were shipped. Another day wasted and had to cancel my job once again. Thank you Sunview.

I recently moved into a house with Sunview Patio Doors installed. I noticed they needed to be resealed both patio doors. Contacted the company, waited for a month for reply and asked to fill out a form and send some images as well. Did all of the above mentioned, have not heard from them since after 3 emails. I am not asking for free patio doors just information on how to fix it. Customer service is horrible. I'll make sure this review will be posted on all search engines and word of mouth to friends and family.

I have been holding of writing such a low review. I was hoping after all my communication/pictures with Hardy and then passed off to Claudio in quality control and numerous calls with him the ball was dropped again. I started 5 months ago to get advice on a 8 foot triple pane patio door we ordered in for our home in PEI. In the high winds we were .getting a reverberating noise and draft. All I wanted was some advice on if we installed something wrong or if I needed to deal something to deal with the high winds on the coast. No luck. The product is good but the service is lacking. Sorry guys

Last month Dante replaced the glass in our new patio door. We couldn't have asked for a nicer or more knowledgeable serviceman. He was quick and efficient, and, oh by the way, we love the patio door. It looks great with our new siding and everyone that has used it can't believe how easily the screen door slides. I have recommended your company to everyone who asks me where we purchased it. Thanks for the quick service.

Had to get both patio doors replaced due to the built-in blinds not working properly. Under the Costco warranty it was painless. Dante, the installer who also did the first visit inspection and approval was awesome. Pretty painless and seamless. Good to work with this firm.

Purchased patio door 10 Months. One evening two weeks ago there was a pop like sound in the one piece of glass broke. We have no clue what could’ve caused it, I know for certain that nothing hit it as we were less than 6 feet away from it when it broke. We contacted Sunview And were told that there was nothing they were going to do as broken glass was not covered under their warranty and we could not prove that it may have been faulty glass. I have purchased many windows and doors over the years for other properties we have owned and only one window never broke in the manufacture had no issue replacing it as it was under a year old as well. Extremely disappointed in the customer service we received. This is supposed to be a reputable company that has won awards? How do you plan to make this right?
