So the sitter gave my puppy grapes and I called the clinic. There was no doctor on site but the receptionist referred me to Richmond Hill ER for pets. I was crying and she was super sweet and calmed me down assuring that Mochi would be just fine. She was very kind and patient.

Northview has been our dog’s pet doctor for 10 years. Our dog wasn’t the easiest to handle as he was aggressive and highly anxious, but the Northview team was always accepting, patient and kind towards him. Our family relocated to another city, but we continued to bring our dog to Northview because we knew that we were in the best of hands. Unfortunately, our dog recently passed away, but we are so thankful for the support and expertise offered by those at Northview. We highly recommend Northview Pet Hospital to all families who want the best of care for their pets.

I brought my dog here because she had a lump. They told me it was probably cancer and I'd have to pay over $600 to have a biopsy done. This was during covid closures and I wasn't working so I said I wanted to think about it. The vet put the fear in me saying if I waited too long the tumour would grow and it would be worse. I was sooo upset and traumatized thinking my dog had cancer because that's what I was lead to believe. I called back a couple of days later and no one returned my phone call. I called back the following week to go over what my options were, and again they told me I'd have to do the biopsy to figure out what the lump was and if it was malignant if it was a tumour, or go see an oncologist, or wait it out. I asked if there were other options and if the lump could be anything else, but they insisted these were the only recommendations from the vet. I went elsewhere to get a second opinion, where the vet knew right away it was just a cyst and removed it for $22 + an exam fee. So... I'd like to think vets are humane and wouldn't take advantage of people when it comes to their beloved fluffy family members. But for that to be true, then this vet didn't have the experience to know the difference between a tumour and a cyst. I'd like to think that was true and she wasn't just trying to make $$$ off my worry for my little doggie, especially trying to do such a horrid thing while we're all dealing with the brutal realities of covid and how its affected society, individuals, and the economy. But either way, are those the hands you want to entrust your loved pets to? Oh, and I've been going here for a few years. I now do question all the diagnoses they've given my dog. I did give them 2 stars because at least they're polite.

Dr. Buday and her team are the best :) We have been lucky to have her take care of our family dog Brownie for many years and they have always been kind, accommodating and extremely hardworking especially during covid. Thank you for working so hard to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to all of our treasured furry family members. ❤️

I took my dog here because he became fattily I’ll. It was the first time I ever had to deal with such a thing. Northview Pet Hospital we’re the kindest people and very comforting. In my opinion this is the best veterinarian hospital in the greater Toronto Area. They are good people and you can see their passion for what they do. Thank you again Northview.
