K	Kay Schieck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris Shoemaker’s the best of the best. She is so friendly and treats you like you are her only client. She will tell you if she thinks a resort or place isn’t for you and opens you up to more options. She looks after every little detail. Does everything but pack your bags and loves to hear about your trip. She goes out of her way to make sure your trip is exactly what you are looking for. I will not use anyone else and highly recommend her. She goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great trip. Her enthusiasm is contagious and is awesome in helping to plan large group trips.

She went above and beyond by getting us the best flights from Halifax to Mexico via Toronto and return. I certainly did not make it easy for her but she always handled herself professionally and I am sure with a smile on her face! We have even invited her to our home in Cape Breton!

It was our first time travelling alone and Krystle made sure we received a good deal, provided recommendations, and made us feel 100% comfortable with all of our travel decisions. Krystle answered my MANY questions promptly and her knowledge made me feel more comfortable with my decision. The beach was beautiful and our 47 guests enjoyed themselves. She accommodated people who could stay 7 days and also provided a 4 day options for those who preferred that! She made sure all my requests were made. I just used Northstar and Krystle again to book a trip in the new year with my family. She was very fast at finding an awesome location for my family to visit for a week! She knows alot about the resort, travel information and again has answered all my questions thus far.... I cannot wait for our next vacation!!

I told her what we like and what our budget is, sure enough both trips were amazing. One was a cruise and one was an all inclusive resort. My husband and I were ecstatically happy with her recommendation. We are looking forward to our next cruise in January 2020 that is also booked with Northstar travel through Krystle.
m	mikey li on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used this agency for a larger group booking. Completely useless and in fact made things more difficult when trying to make changes. Just try calling the agency and see if you can get through to a person since you wont be able to do anything without the agent doing it for you. Go through a carrier directly and save yourself hours of headaches. The company will not help you if you run into issues.

It was pretty much impossible to get in touch with her by phone and took her days to respond via email if at all (still no reply to our last email). She would say she would hold things for 24 hours, we would reply the same day, and then not hear back again for over 24 hours. We asked questions regarding insurance that were left unanswered, and there was a general disinterest in her email tone regarding the trip as well. For context, we reached out at the beginning of March and still didn't have anything booked by the 20th. Ultimately we went with another travel agency and got our trip booked in two days. Because of all of this I would not recommend Northstar travel to anyone looking for an agent who is responsive or looking to book quickly.
S	Steve D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RUN don't walk away from this Travel agency run as far away as possible. Booked with this company( back in 2020) and bought the worry free cancelation insurance. My niece canceled her wedding. I have been trying to get or refund- credit back ever since. The owner( Mike) did give us back 200.00 e-transfer and said he would talk to Sunwing about the rest of the refund. Two trip later and still trying to get our refund.
