Northern Lights Carwash - Winnipeg

When it comes to car washes, this is that new kid on the block. Here they've got everything the standard car was would offer and some more, just to keep you coming back. The ambiance as you roll though the wash mimics that of the northern lights. From the water pressure to the pace, they seem to have to down to a science. But what I really appreciated today, was the free vacuum area. I've yet to see a car wash that has a healthy amount of space dedicated to free vacuum service. Pro tip if you wish to use this amenity, be sure to take your first right as you exist the wash. ? I missed that turn on my first visit. I had a video I was looking to upload but it appears Google reviews doesn't accommodate that ?. Anyhow I will be back again soon. When I see a solid week of no rain in forecast. Cheers ?

Wasn't overly impressed with the cleaning job of my truck. Got basic wash which was most expensive wash I ever paid for ($17) and it didn't properly clean front of truck and bottom of windshield. I had to go to a wand wash after to properly clean the front. Also power went out and we waited in line for at least 10 minutes maybe more before they were able to process sales again. Felt bad for girl running tills as she was obviously frazzled by this and the huge lineup of cars waiting.

Love the idea of monthly subscription for car washes. Can wash your car as many times as you like. Seeing some of the other reviews, it's clear that they have the basic package and expect perfection. I have the great and it's better than what I thought it would be.

Very nice car wash, there are multiple different cleaning stages in the car wash. You can also vacuum the inside of your car with their free vacuum service. In addition they offer a carpet/rubber mat wash for the mats on the floor of your car. Overall I would recommend.

I just got back from my second visit. I talked myself into getting the month of "the works", a regular $30 wash but it ended up being like 25 for the month. Pros: staff seem friendly enough, free vacuum that actually does a good job. Cons: the car wash doesn't wash car very well. I thought it was a fluke but after the second visit I'm sure that it's the machines. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. After this month I won't be coming back.

Update: Now that I have no problems putting my car into neutral?, I go there a couple times a week at least maybe even three times, it's so quick and easy in the car comes out fairly dry, if you park outside in the winter make sure you wipe down the door seals before you leave it overnight! Love this car wash! Original Post: I've only been there once, couldn't get my car into neutral, once I figured it out, I was getting washed within seconds. The sprayers and soft brushes(if that is what the spinning cloths are called) did a really good job. When I left there I was actually surprised how well my whole crossover was cleaned, even the hatchback section was very clean! I highly recommend subscribing to their monthly Services where you can get unlimited washes, there are varying levels but I picked the cheapest because why not ?

Thought I would try the new Northern Lights Car Wash at 61 Nature Park Way. Building is nice, staff were super friendly and helpful (this is the reason for a 2nd star) explaining the car wash and the membership options. I decided to purchase a "Great Wash" which is a middle of the road wash that comes to $26.30 after taxes. Unfortunately the car wash did not clean my entire car! For a price point like this you would expect it to be able to wash your entire vehicle. I drive a small Nissan SUV (Rogue). Very disappointed with the outcome of the wash vs the money I spent on it. I won't be going back.

Not worth it, If you have a truck or SUV keep driving to the Co-op car wash. Paid for the basic wash. ($12.90 inc taxes) I asked if there was a place we could toss our garbage and was pointed to the vacuum area. We were asked if this was our first visit. We responded that it was, so she pointed out where the entrance to the wash was and said there would be someone to direct us in. There was a man there with a sprayer, he sprayed off our windshield and we proceeded through. The wash was super fast, all flash and no actual cleaning power. We drove back in and talked to the cashier, told her we wanted to go back through because our truck did not come clean. She said you purchased the bronze so you can not go through again. She explained how inferior the bronze was to the deluxe and that you can not re wash with the bronze. This is there policy and there are no exceptions. I could leave my # for the manager. I gave her several opportunities to correct this situation and was simply regurgitated the same information. The points I tried to bring up was - if I was paying almost $13 for a car wash I wanted a clean car - she knew it was our first time to this wash and could have told us that thier bronze was was not going to clean our truck. - I told her that coop, shell, chamois are all cheaper and guarantee you a clean car or you can go through a second time. I explained further that I would be reviewing my experience here today, and having a dirty vehicle after leaving a car wash doesn’t exactly leave customers wanting to come back. Updated: it has been a week now since I left my phone number for a manager to call. Still I have not received a phone call or message.
